Mr. Jason Redd

Hello, I am Jason Redd. I am the pre-engineering teacher at Aiken High School in Aiken, SC. I teach at the high school I attended as a young man. I graduated from Aiken High School on June 7, 1996. After high school, I attended Aiken Technical College and earned an Associate Degree in Occupational Technology with a Major in General Technology in Industrial Drafting and a Diploma in Industrial Drafting. For nine years I worked for two separate engineering firms. I worked five years for Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group Inc. (located in Aiken, SC) and four years for W.R. Toole Engineers, Inc (located in Augusta, GA). Both of these engineering firms gave me the opportunity to advance and become better prepared to one day instruct students in the areas of engineering and drafting. Even in high school I always had a desire to be a teacher. I was inspired by my high school drafting teacher. So, when the opportunity came for me to apply for a teaching position, I jumped at the chance. In August 2007, I began my teaching career at my former high school, taking over for my former high school drafting teacher.
