ARISTOTELES KROKIDAS

Job Titles:
  • LNG Terminal Operations Manager
Aristoteles has more than 36 years of experience in LNG terminals and LNG facilities, covering project development, Engineering Procurement Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of LNG terminals and with decades of hands-on operational and technical experience of LNG plants in Greece. In his early career, he served as the Deputy Director of Operation & Maintenance for Department of Pipeline Natural Gas system in Greece, responsible for the commissioning of Natural Gas System in Greece covering nearly 1000 km of pipeline distribution network. During his long tenure at Revithoussa island LNG Terminal covers, he was responsible for the second phase expansion project, gas transmission system management, construction of a new LNG terminal in Crete Island, construction of additional LNG storage tanks in Revithoussa island, truck loading system, increasing the send-out system capacity by 40% for LNG and revamping of Jetty and shore facilities area. His recent works include, preparation and execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing the completion procedures and hand-over for Enemalta regasification unit., which comprise the LNG and BOG delivery pipework from an FSU (Floating and Storage Unit) via jetty to an onshore regasification unit. During his 9 years of LNG plant start up and operation at Public Gas Corporation of Greece (DEPA), he managed more than 37 Operations, Maintenance and Safety procedures, which covered ships cool down procedures, daily material balance, LNG tank pumps maintenance, LNG unloading etc. He has a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Bologna, Italy and is member of several European professional associations.

CHERYL GOH

Job Titles:
  • Executive Director
Ms. Cheryl heads the Corporate Affairs of LNG Alliance as the Executive Director championing the new initiatives of the company and balances the rest of her time with LNG Project Development and Global Investment Portfolio Developments for upcoming LNG Assets in the emerging markets. Her primary focus is on LNG export terminals in the Americas and LNG Import terminals (Onshore, FSU, FSRU, Small Scale), break-bulking, and LNG distribution segment for SE Asia, South Asia and Middle East. She is responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to minimize risk and deliver maximum value from these LNG terminal project developments, portfolio of LNG supply contracts, and LNG sales contracts. Ms. Cheryl is actively engaged in the Mexico LNG export terminal in Sonora and is leading the efforts for the LNG bunkering in the Pacific and Indian Ocean. As Commercial Director previously, she was responsible for contract management, EPC tendering, cost data validation, and structuring of LNG import terminals. She played an active role in developing commercially viable small-scale LNG and virtual pipeline projects with applications in Caribbean, India, Indonesia and Philippines. She was instrumental in establishing the subsidiaries on LNG Alliance in Indonesia and Mexico. She also serves as Director in SSLNG Pte Ltd, Singapore which is an LNG technology and IP company. Over the years, she has built up strong relationships with government agencies, embassies and has actively supported the policy development for government institutions. Cheryl has hands on experience, in concept evaluations, feasibility studies, and managing costing and estimations for Front-End Engineering Design Development (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) contracts, Investment screening, asset portfolio management, and pre-FID and FID investment evaluations. In the past, she served as a Senior Consultant to Galway Group, and prior to that worked with Singapore Airlines. Cheryl holds a B.A. in English Literature, from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.

D K DAS

Job Titles:
  • VP LNG and Midstream
DK has more than 30 years of technical and commercial experience in working in energy and mining sectors in United States, Canada and 15 countries in South America, Asia and Africa. He has conducted options study for siting of LNG infrastructure at both onshore and offshore locations and determined optimal way for LNG storage through onshore LNG storage tanks and FSRUs/ FSUs. DK has been responsible for feasibility studies, FEED and design reviews for LNG import infrastructures (LNG Import Terminal Jetty, Trestle, LNG Storage Tank and Regas facilities) for a number of projects, particularly in the Caribbean, Western Canada and the Middle East. As part of the work scope, he has designed pipe-in-pipe configurations for LNG transportation employing new materials and unique deployment systems. He has also reviewed conveyance of LNG through typical stainless-steel pipe (with insulation) and vacuum piping systems. DK has directed environmental and geotechnical studies, specifically related to LNG import and export projects and has interacted with regulatory bodies. Finally, he has prepared Cost Estimates (CAPEX and OPEX); devised procurement, logistics and construction work plans, budgets and schedules; performed Life cycle cost analysis and Financial modelling. Selected project involvements include Bahama LNG, Woodfibre LNG, Pacific Northwest LNG, Aurora LNG, Damietta LNG and MPEH LNG. DK holds an MBA, Finance & Accounting from the University of Chicago, Illinois, USA; M.Eng., Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada; M.A.Sc., Structural Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada; and, M. Eng., Building Science & Technology from IIT Roorkee, India.

DR. GHO WIE MIN

Job Titles:

Dr Gho has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, fabrication and installation combined with knowledge of project management in the marine offshore and energy industries. He has served as Director at SSLNG Singapore focusing on cryogenic technology and LNG terminal infrastructure development. He has conducted regular seminars and workshops on natural gas production and LNG technology in Southeast Asia. Dr Gho has worked as production engineer and structural engineer at McDermott Indonesia and Singapore (1992-98). He was an assistant professor and director for MSc in Offshore Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) (2001-06). He joined ABS Pacific as a senior engineer working on the guide development of offshore floating structures (2006-08). He was a technical consultant and project manager of some technology developments such as the fixed and floating LPG terminal systems, the underwater infrastructure and underwater city for the future funded by the National Research Foundation Singapore, the deep water jack-up drilling rig and the small scale floating storage regasification unit. Dr. Gho holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield, UK, an MSc DIC in Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics from Imperial College London and a PhD in Civil Engineering from NTU.

DR. MUTHU CHEZHIAN - Managing Director

Muthu has more than 25 years of technical and commercial leadership experience in Energy sector, LNG and Gas Infrastructure developments and Gas to Power large CAPEX projects. His portfolio covers Project Development, FEED, EPC management, Project Management, Operations and Services for Onshore LNG Terminals as well as FSRU/ FSU based LNG terminals, Small Scale LNG solutions, and associated Marine Facilities (Jetty, Topsides, Mooring, Pipelines). From his extensive portfolio he has broad Midstream knowledge within contracting strategy, commercial evaluations, commodity contracting, economic viability assessments, stakeholder engagement, upstream integration, regulatory interfaces, RFQ management, asset acquisition, project finance, equity investments and asset valuation. Muthu has played a pioneering role in LNG Terminals since 2006, including the first wave of FSRUs in Americas (USA & Argentina), with more recent project portfolio of LNG terminals for Bahrain, Ghana, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Indonesia, and shipyard EPC management of an FLRSU vessel in China. He is currently involved in a wide range of projects in USA and Canada (midstream assets investments, NGLs, pricing analysis, LNG liquefaction marketing), Caribbean and Indonesia (Small Scale LNG), Bahrain and India (FSU), SE Asia (LNG Bunkering and LNG hub) and in South Asia (Gas to Power). Muthu has managed projects around 1.2 Billion USD for the corporate level projects concurrently managed, overseeing multiple Project Managers, FEED contractors, EIA consultants, Commercial Advisors, Financial Institutions and EPC Contractors. Prior to this, Muthu has held several senior management and C Level positions with Galway Group, Huarong Energy, Wison Offshore & Marine, Parker Hannifin, BW Offshore, DNV GL, and has worked in USA, Singapore, Norway, China and India. Muthu's holds a Ph.D. in Marine Hydrodynamics (focus on FPSOs) and MS in Marine Technology from NTNU, Trondheim, Norway and B. Tech. (Honors) in Ocean Engineering & Naval Architecture from IIT - Kharagpur, India and a PMP Certification from USA.

NORMAN TSENG

Norman has nearly forty plus years of professional experience covering engineering, design and plant operation in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals, Polymers, and Chemicals industries. Major emphasis on Oil & Gas related experiences are Onshore/Offshore Production and Processing Facilities, Pipelines, Subsea Production facilities, Floating Production/Processing, Storage and Offload (FPSO) systems, Floating LNG and Regas systems, Floating Power Production, Combined Cycle Power Generation, etc. Emphasis on Processing Technologies are Natural Gas Processing (Gas/Liquid Treating and Dehydration, CO2 Recovery, Sulfur Recovery, etc.), Cryogenics (LPG/NGL Recovery, CO2 Separation, Nitrogen Rejection, Helium Recovery and Liquefaction), land based LNG Liquefaction plants, Receiving Terminals, GTL, Ethylene, Methanol, NH3, and various refinery and petrochemical processes. Project scopes range from Design reviews and verifications, Conceptual and Feasibility studies with economic evaluations, Front-End Engineering and Basic Design (FEED), completed Detailed Engineering and Design and Plant Commissioning & Start-up. His last decade of projects in LNG and FSRU include noteworthy projects such as Woodfibre LNG terminal, West Niger Delta LNG, Thailand's Map Ta Phut LNG Terminal, Energy Port Lavaca FSRU and FLNG for Deep Water Gas Reservoirs in Nigeria. He was formerly employed with Flour, Foster Wheeler, KBR and Modec. Norman holds a M.S. Chemical Engineering from the Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, and a B.S. ROBERT STIBOLT

With over 30 years of experience Mr. Stibolt (Bob) advises the energy clients on LNG opportunities, natural gas marketing, finance and energy risk management. With a career that has focused on risk mitigation, Bob has held Risk Management positions for companies such as Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), Strategic Decisions Group, Sonat, Inc, and SUEZ Energy North America. As Manager of Evaluation and Manager of Decision Analysis for ARCO, he managed evaluation of new and existing exploration and production ventures in the international divisions as well as developed risk management capabilities for oil and natural gas. As Vice President of Risk Strategy at Sonat, Inc Bob lead deal structuring and quantitative research teams guiding strategies for Sonat Exploration Company. While with JP Morgan as Managing Director and Chair of Global Commodities Group (GCG) Principal Investments Risk Committee, Bob oversaw GCG Market Risk Principal Investments, responsible for coordinating with Commercial, Market Risk, Principal Investment Risk, Credit, and Quantitative Research teams to ensure all risks in transactions were researched and communicated to senior management. As a well-respected Risk Officer within the field, Bob was among the founders of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO) in 2002. Bob holds a M.S., Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, USA, and a B.S., Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University, USA.
