AUSTIN DIVERSITY & INCLUSION PROJECT

The Austin Diversity & Inclusion Project was co-founded as a non-profit in January 2017 by three women working in tech in Austin with a mission of providing leaders and emerging leaders with resources to promote diversity and champion a culture of inclusion within their own organizations and Austin at large. We focus on grassroots efforts to discuss opportunities for increasing awareness and inclusion related to diversity such as achieving pay equity, implementing mother-friendly workplaces, and how to get executive buy-in for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)... We also believe every employer needs a platform to showcase their DEI hard work and attract aligned candidates... We have a Certification program that sets companies apart from those who are not actively working to improve their DEI ecosystem. We provide a seal for companies to exhibit their DEI level, achievement and support. We assist Advocates (companies/individuals) and Certification (for companies).
