Auxano Economic Development Center, Inc. (AEDC) is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to bridge the income gap between urban and rural cities by providing access to loan capital, financial services, technical assistance, and affordable housing for low and moderate-income individuals and small businesses in North Carolina, South Carolina and abroad... Our name represents who we are, what we do and what we believe in. Auxano is bigger than each of us as individuals and leaders. The meaning of Auxano is "to bring growth or increase". In essence, this is what we do - we assist local workers and entrepreneurs with growth and increase in their life and business.
