Called the Blood-based Amyloid, Tau and Other Neuropathological Biomarkers (BATON) project the project is supported by the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development and is being conducted as a collaborative research effort involving the Tokyo Metropolitan Geriatrics Hospital, National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology, Kindai University, Nagoya University, Shimadzu Corporation, BioSHIP, and Toray Industries, Inc.
