Since we formed as BDAQ in 1990, our mission has been to protect our profession, enhance our standing and support our members. In 1993, after 3 years of lobbying, building designers were officially licensed under The Queensland Building Services Authority Act... BDQ is the peak body representing building design industry professionals in Queensland. We believe that the building design industry is fundamental in shaping Queensland's built environment.
