KENT

Kent is a 4 th generation Spokanite and grew up in the south valley area of Spokane. He attended McDonald Elementary, Evergreen Middle School and both Central Valley and University High Schools. Kent is an Eagle Scout and has lifelong passion for leadership. Following his entrepreneurial roots, Kent purchased, remodeled and sold houses. Kent purchased his first business based on his experience with the board game Cashflow 101, how to get out of the rat race.The game would also have him purchasing a laundry facility and turning it into a profitable business. Today, Kent is the owner of Happy Laundry & Dry Cleaning; a company that specializes in commercial and personal laundry and dry cleaning services. Through Kent's experience in Leadership Spokane (Class of 2009), he was introduced to the Northeast Youth Center. He was offered an opportunity to serve the community on the NEYC Board of Directors.
