Chloe Britton

Chloe joined Bristol Ambulance in 2014. Starting her Ambulance career on Patient Transport as an Ambulance Care Assistant, Chloe has since worked in the Control Room as a Dispatcher, Resourcing Dept as Team Leader and gained her Emergency Care Assistant qualification to be able to work on our frontline services. Two years ago, Chloe moved into our Operations Department as Duty Operations Manager, building the skills to then be promoted to the position of Head of Operations (Emergency & Urgent Care). Chloe manages all the operational requirements for our Frontline NHS contracts ensuring our clients and patients get the highest levels of service. In her spare time Chloe enjoys long walks with her dog, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Jake Whewell - COO

Job Titles:

Jake joined Bristol in 2016 following a ten-year career within the NHS. Before joining Healthcare, he held the position of chef de Partie at an award-winning restaurant in Bristol. Jake joined Bristol Ambulance on PTS whilst awaiting to join our latest CERAD course due to qualifications held prior, before moving onto Frontline as an Emergency Care Assistant where he progressed to Operations Liaison Lead. Bristol Ambulances supported Jake whilst he undertook his Paramedic studies and after registering with the HCPC has since progressed through the ranks to Director of Operations (Emergency & Urgent Care). Amongst overseeing the company's Clinical matters, Jake manages the delivery of all our ACA, ECA, AAP, Emergency Driving and Paramedic apprenticeships and training programmes. In his spare time, Jake enjoys travelling, spending time with family and a game of snooker.

Lisa French

Job Titles:

Lisa joined Bristol Ambulance in 2007 following a variety of roles in other industries. Lisa started her career with us working in the Control Room where she was responsible for the dispatch and monitoring of our patient transport ambulances. Lisa climbed the ranks in our Control Room, reaching the role of Deputy Manager where she then moved over to our Resourcing Department as Logistics Planning Manager and later Service Delivery Manager. Lisa is responsible for our people, ensuring that the daily planning and rostering reflects the complexities of our service delivery needs. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys swimming and spinning taking any opportunity to keep herself fit and active, counterbalanced with a love of baking.

Rob Johnson - CEO

Rob is the Chief Executive Officer at Bristol Ambulance EMS, and the company's CQC Registered Manager. Rob is also a Director and sits on the board of the Independent Ambulance Association, which represents over 50 providers and is committed to raising and maintaining high standards in the independent ambulance sector.

Sean Stephens - COO

Sean joined Bristol Ambulance in 2014 following a long career in health & fitness as a Duty Manager for David Lloyd Leisure. Sean began working on our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service before joining the emergency division and where he went on to successfully complete his IHCD Emergency Medical Technician course. Over the past 4 years, Sean has held several leadership roles across the organisation, including Control, Logistics and PTS where he has recently been promoted to the role of Director of Operations - Patient Transport. In his spare time, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and exploring the outdoors.
