Formed in 1980 with only two employees, we've grown into one of the largest privately-owned oil and gas servicing companies in the United States. Butch's Rat Hole Service, Inc. was formed in 1980 in Levelland, Texas by L.D. (Butch) Bryant. With a single rat hole truck servicing three drilling companies, oil was around $35 a barrel. The timing of our initial operations proved to be worthwhile throughout the "oil boom" of the 80s. Our business grew rapidly along with our reputation. Butch's expanded into the oil production arena with an anchor setting and testing company in 1982. From then on, our company would be officially known as Butch's Rat Hole & Anchor Service, Inc.
