BUSHEL AND A PECK FARM

Welcome to our home! My name is Shauna and I live here with my husband and two small children. Bushel and a Peck Farm was born in 2013 when my husband and I built our house where my grandparent's house used to stand. The land that surrounds our farm has been in my family for over 200 years and our property totals about 100 acres between our homestead and my parents. We named our farm after the song "A Bushel and a Peck" by Doris Day as my grandmother used to sing this to me as a child. We have a wide range of animals from chickens, rabbits, a horse, lizards, fish, a pig, and bees. In total, we have over 50 critters that are a part of our family. We love catching fireflies, collecting apples and pears from our orchard, and spending as much time outside as possible... Our eggs are farm fresh and laid daily by our ladies. We have a variety of hen breeds here on the farm and an occasional rooster. Our eggs are multicolored due to the different chicken breeds. We have dark brown, blue,..
