Cano Conversions was founded by James Cano, who fell into the business after building his own camper van. James realized he might be onto something when his friends and strangers in Southern California campgrounds were impressed by the craftsmanship and quality of his van, and he was commissioned to build a van for someone who liked what they saw. James took his experience working in the commercial trailer business and opened his own shop. Soon after he asked his his father, Frank Cano, to join him full time. Frank Cano returned to his carpentry roots, having spent 30 years as a cabinet maker and carpenter. James and Frank combine their strengths in custom woodwork, design, and technology to build custom camper vans and trailer conversions that become rolling works of art...
