Brett Somerville is a Senior Analyst at Cartica. Prior to joining Cartica, Mr. Somerville was an Investment Banking Associate at RBC Capital Markets in the Global Aerospace, Defense & Government Services Group from 2009 to 2011. While at RBC, he advised clients on M&A, restructurings and leveraged buyout transactions. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Somerville worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Industrials Group. While at BAML, he executed M&A and capital markets transactions in the Aerospace & Defense, Transportation, Equipment & Machinery, Diversified Industrial, Engineering & Construction, Manufacturing and Metals & Mining sectors. Riley FBR, a leading full service investment bank in Arlington, Virginia. She started her career as an accountant working at Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, and Sallie Mae. Ms. Hart is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she received her BS in Accounting. She holds a Professional in Human Resource (PHR) certification from the HR Certificate Institute.

Daphne Richards is an Independent Member of Cartica's Board of Directors and was named to the Board on August 31, 2015. Ms. Richards is currently President and Chief Investment Officer of Ledge Harbor Management, a single-family office based in West Palm Beach, having joined at its inception in September 2016. She is also an Independent Director of Cohen and Steers Mutual Funds as of September 2017. Previously Ms. Richards was a Managing Director at Bessemer Trust Company, New York from 1999 to 2014, where she was co-head of Bessemer's Alternative Investment Group and head of its Hedge Fund investment practice. Ms. Richards was a member of Bessemer's Investment Policy and Strategy Committee and was a member of, or chaired, all of Bessemer's alternative investment fund Investment Committees. Prior to Bessemer, Daphne held senior investment roles at Frank Russell Company, Union Bank of Switzerland, and Credit Suisse. Ms. Richards is a member of the Investment Committee of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and a member of the Advisory Board of the Northeast Dutchess Fund. From 1998 to 2007, Ms. Jones worked as an independent contractor providing accounting and related services to private companies and non-profit organizations. From 1992 through 1997, she served as Controller of Mayfair Partners, LP (and affiliates), a diversified chain of over 250 restaurants in seven states. From 1991 to 1993, Ms. Jones served as the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Atlantic Entertainment Group, a chain of specialty retail stores. She began her career has an auditor and tax accountant with the accounting firm, Pannell Kerr Forster. Ms. Jones earned her BS in accounting from George Mason University.

Elizabeth Krentzman is an Independent Member of Cartica's Board of Directors and was named to the Board on January 3, 2017. Ms. Krentzman joins the board after retiring from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she served as the firm's U.S. mutual fund leader. Ms. Krentzman formerly served as the general counsel of the Investment Company Institute (ICI), where she was responsible for legal and regulatory initiatives affecting the Institute's member firms. Before joining the ICI, Ms. Krentzman spent seven years at Deloitte & Touche LLP as the leader of the investment management regulatory consulting practice. Prior to that, Ms. Krentzman served as an assistant director in the SEC's Division of Investment Management where she was responsible for rules involving investment company reporting and disclosure obligations and investment adviser regulation. Prior to joining the SEC, Ms. Krentzman was associated with the law firm Ropes & Gray LLP, where she handled regulatory and compliance matters for investment companies, their advisers and directors. Ms. Krentzman is a member of the District of Columbia and Florida Bar Associations. She received her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Florida and served on the University of Florida Law Review. Ms. Krentzman currently serves as a board member and chair of the regulatory and oversight committee of OppenheimerFunds. Emily Alejos, CFA is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Investment Officer of Cartica. She is also a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Cartica, Ms. Alejos was with Tradewinds Global Investors (a subsidiary of Nuveen Investments) from 2007 to 2016. She started her tenure at Tradewinds as a Global Consumer Analyst and Portfolio Manager and was promoted to Co-Chief Investment Officer and Executive Managing Director in 2012. As Co-CIO she was responsible for leading and managing the investment side of the business. She was also a member of the Executive team and served on the Board of Directors reporting to Nuveen. Prior to joining Tradewinds, Ms. Alejos was with Credit Suisse Asset Management in New York from 1997 to 2006. From 2004 to 2006, she was a Director and Portfolio Manager/Analyst on the firm's International Focus team. For the seven years prior to that, she served as Portfolio Manager and Head of Latin American Equities, in addition to serving as a senior member of the firm's Global Emerging Markets team. Ms. Alejos began her career as an Equity Analyst at GT Capital in San Francisco then as a Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Bankers Trust in New York. Ms. Alejos earned a BA degree with honors in Economics and Development studies from Brown University and an MBA and a Certificate in Public Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Farida Khambata - Founder

Farida Khambata is a Co-Founder of Cartica. Prior to co-founding Cartica, Mrs. Khambata was a member of IFC's Management Group. In her last position at IFC she served as the Regional Vice President in charge of operations in East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. She was responsible for strategy, investment operations and advisory services in IFC's member countries in these regions. She also oversaw all equity investments globally and investments in Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Services and Health and Education, regardless of geography. Prior to her final appointment at IFC, Mrs. Khambata was Vice President for Portfolio and Risk Management where she had responsibility for the Corporation's portfolio (approximately $14 billion) and risk management operations, as well as for information technology, controls, budgeting, trust funds and back office operations. Before being named Vice President, Mrs. Khambata was the Treasurer of IFC and handled, among other things, IFC's borrowing program and the management of its liquid assets. Prior to becoming the Treasurer, Mrs. Khambata was the Director of the Central Capital Markets Department, which was responsible for IFC's financial sector investments, IFC's Emerging Markets Data Base ("EMDB"), and for providing advice on capital market development. She joined IFC in 1986 from the World Bank where she managed pension fund assets and was in charge of non-US equities. Mrs. Khambata earned her MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and her MS in Business Management from the London Business School. She serves on the boards of directors of Tata Sons Ltd. and Kotak Mahindra Bank in India, Dragon Capital in Vietnam, as well as on the advisory boards of ADM and Bancroft.

Kate Ahern

Prior to joining Cartica, Kate was the Director of ESG and Communications at Bain Capital where she oversaw ESG management, citizenship, communications and philanthropy. While at Bain, Kate was responsible for implementing ESG across all asset classes within the investment portfolio (including public and private equity, fixed income, real estate and impact investing) during both the due diligence phase and ownership period. Kate was also responsible for developing the ESG integration strategy for its Public Equity Global Long Equity Fund and helped launch the Bain Capital Double Impact Fund. The Double Impact Fund was focused on investing in for-profit companies with a social mission, including both monitoring and measuring impact. Prior to her time at Bain, she served as VP of Social Innovation at the Case Foundation where she concentrated on impact investing and corporate responsibility. Kate has a BA in International Affairs from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy and an MA in International Development and Conflict Resolution from American University in Washington, DC.

Before the acquisition, DFT was a Technology, SAP-BOBJ partner where Ms. McNamara played a key role in relationship to the partnership; managing Inside Sales in regard to annual SAP maintenance-support renewals and customer liaison for SAP training/eLearning program, and Operations Manager charged with payroll, accounts receivables and facilities. She started her career with First Data Corporation, debt collections division with Nationwide Credit in operations, where her focus was auditing for contract and regulatory compliance, as well as managing administrative support company wide.

Ryan Rubenstein, CMT is Head of Trading of Cartica. Prior to joining Cartica, Mr. Rubenstein was a trader at Triogem Asset Management, a Global Emerging Markets fund with both long/short and long only strategies. While at Triogem, Mr. Rubenstein handled execution across multiple asset classes while analyzing market behavior and monitoring portfolio risk. Prior to joining Triogem, Mr. Rubenstein worked in varying capacities at Tiedemann Investment Group, most recently in trade support and as a trading assistant for the Global Catalyst, Emerging Market, and Merger Arbitrage strategies. Prior to forming Cartica, he was a co-founder and COO of a $1.0 billion U.S. activist fund as well as Senior Managing Director of an affiliated professional services firm focused on corporate governance, restructurings and turnarounds. Formerly, Mr. Quamme was the founder and co-CEO of Milestone Merchant Partners. Milestone (subsequently acquired by Houlihan Lokey) was a full service merchant bank that provided investment banking services and also managed a series of private equity funds. Mr. Quamme began his career as a securities and mergers & acquisitions attorney at Baker Botts. Mr. Quamme earned his BA from Northwestern University and his JD from Northwestern University School of Law. He serves as a member of Northwestern's Law Board. Teresa Barger is a Co-Founder and CEO of Cartica. Ms. Barger spent 21 years at the International Finance Corporation investing in emerging markets companies in nearly all regions of the world. At IFC, among other positions, she was Division Manager for Africa, Deputy Director of Credit/Investment Review, and Director of Private Equity and Investment Funds. In that post she created the first index for EM private equity and co-founded the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA). Ms. Barger also developed the first two corporate governance funds in the Emerging Markets, for Korea and Brazil. She was subsequently Director of Corporate Governance and Securities Market Development. In this position she was responsible for the governance aspects of IFC investments and using governance as a value addition strategy. She also created the innovative Gemloc bond fund, index, and market development program for local currency bonds. Before joining IFC, Ms. Barger was with McKinsey & Company. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the boards of American University in Cairo, the Casey Health Foundation and ANERA. She also serves on the Advisory Councils for Princeville Global and Lumia Capital. Ms. Barger received her AB magna cum laude from Harvard College and her MBA from the Yale School of Management. Thomas (Tom) Saidy is a Senior Vice President at Cartica, responsible for macroeconomic, sector and country research. Mr. Saidy also oversees the firm's institutional brokerage and research relationships. Mr. Saidy joined Cartica at its inception and played an integral role in the firm's research, trading and middle office operations. Prior to joining Cartica, he served as the CIO of Milestone Merchant Partners' two India-focused private equity funds: India Direct Fund, L.P. and eTEC Ventures, L.P. Mr. Saidy also served as a Vice President of Richard C. Breeden & Co. where he was engaged in various corporate governance matters including those involving WorldCom, Adelphia, Enron, KPMG, and Fannie Mae. Previously, Mr. Saidy was a Managing Director with Demerara Ventures, an international strategic advisory firm focused on capital raising and business development for companies in the US and overseas. Prior to that, he served as an institutional equity Advisor with Castleton Holdings, a US-focused real estate institutional equity investment company. Prior to joining Castleton, Mr. Saidy was Director of Strategy and Operations for Softbank Emerging Markets, Inc., a $200 million global venture fund sponsored by IFC and Softbank (Japan). Mr. Saidy spent nine years of his career as a senior investment manager with International Equity Partners, LP, a private equity and advisory services firm operating in, India, SE Asia and Eastern Europe. During this time, he also served as CEO of the Danube Restructuring Fund, a $200 million debt-restructuring fund. Mr. Saidy earned his BA from Connecticut College and his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
