The CHA is led by a team of Scientific Directors. CHA researchers are supported by Core Facilities that provide technical support and Scientific Management and Administration departments, who organise all non-scientific aspects of the institute from events to researcher training and finances... Our goal is to help everyone reach old age in good health. To do this, we work to understand the basic molecular mechanisms that cause ageing and age-related diseases. We then use these findings to identify preventative strategies to promote healthy ageing and treatments that could prevent or cure age-related disease... Our mission is to promote healthy ageing and to prevent and treat age-related diseases by combining basic and clinical research, so that everyone can have a long and healthy life.
