Aaron Guerrier

Aaron Guerrier joined Centre's Admission team in 2021. He also works as the New Horizons liaison between the Office of Admission and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Aaron was awarded the Posse Scholarship in 2016 and graduated from Centre College (2020) with a BS in Economics and Finance with a minor in Social Justice. In his senior year, Aaron conducted an Independent Study on Gentrification and the Affordable Housing Crisis in low-income communities of his home state, Massachusetts. Previously, he has worked as an Operations Assistant for Edelweiss Lodge & Resort in Bavaria, Germany along with Consulting Manager for Better Nonprofit at Third Sector New England (TSNE). Aaron grew up in Randolph, Massachusetts.

Abby Trammel

Abby Trammel became the first-ever head coach for Centre's varsity Cheer & Stunt program in December 2019, taking over control of the team heading into the 2020-21 season. She joined Centre from Bolivar, Mo., where she served as an elementary school teacher and Head Cheer Coach at Bolivar High School. She has also been an instructor within the Universal Cheerleaders Association as part of the Missouri Staff since 2012.

Adele H. Stodghill

Alex McAllister joined the Centre College faculty in 1999, and is H. W. Stodghill, Jr. and Adele H. Stodghill Professor of Mathematics and joined the Dean's office in 2019 as associate dean. In 2009, he received the Kirk Teaching Award, and has been honored as a Centre Scholar both in 2005 and in 2010. He has prior teaching experience as a visiting assistant professor at Dartmouth College and a graduate instructor at the University of Notre Dame. McAllister was also a research assistant at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. McAllister's scholarly interests include mathematical logic and foundations, and computability theory. His articles have been published in the Archive for Mathematical Logic, the Journal of Symbolic Logic, and the Mathematical Logic Quarterly. In 2009, Oxford University Press published A Transition to Advanced Mathematics: A Survey Course, which McAllister co-authored with William Johnston of Randolph-Macon College. McAllister holds a BS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a PhD From the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of Phi Mu Epsilon.

Andrea Abrams

Andrea Abrams came to Centre in 2007 as Centre's first Consortium for Faculty Diversity at Liberal Arts Colleges Postdoctoral Fellow, and became assistant professor of anthropology in 2009. She was promoted to associate professor in 2014. In 2018 she was named associate vice president for diversity affairs & special assistant to the president, and in 2021 was named vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Before coming to Centre, Abrams taught at the University of Southern Mississippi, Emory University, Agnes Scott College, and Spelman College.

Andy Frye

Andy Frye, the all-time winningest coach in Centre history, has been the head football coach of the Colonels since the 1998 season. Since that time Centre has become one of the most respected football programs in all of Division III. Frye owns a 152-career record, becoming Centre's all-time leader in coaching victories with a 34-7 triumph over Defiance on September 13, 2014. With the win, Frye surpassed his predecessor and 2002 Centre Hall of Fame inductee Joe McDaniel. Over the last six-plus seasons, Frye's program has put together a stellar 52-15 mark, including the school's first Southern Athletic Association title and 16th conference championship overall in 2014, and another in 2018. Centre finished with a 10-1 ledger during that historic '14 campaign, tying a school record for most victories in a season. The Colonels achieved a perfect 10-0 mark in the regular season, their first undefeated regular season since the 1955 campaign, and qualified for the NCAA Division III Playoffs for the second time under Frye. The 2018 squad matched that mark with a 10-2 overall record, reaching the NCAA Division III Playoffs for the third time in his tenure. The Colonels demolished 14th-ranked Washington & Jefferson, 54-13, in the opening-round game at Farris Stadium to reach the "Sweet 16." He mentored two All-Americans in Cal Lewellyn and Drew Yeager, as well as the SAA Offensive Player of the Year, Tanner Young.

Anita Bertram

Anita, a Danville native, joined the Student Life staff in 2001. She came to Centre from a local manufacturing facility where she was a human resources assistant for 16 years. One of her major responsibilities in the Student Life Office is the publication of the student handbook which is given to each student. She also publishes the yearly Centre College Directory.

Benjamin A. Gilman

Description: The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide. Eligibility: The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is open to all U.S. citizen undergraduates, in good academic standing, who meet the following criteria: 1) The applicant must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term of his/her study abroad program or internship. 2)The applicant is applying to or has been accepted into a study abroad program or internship eligible for credit by the student's accredited institution of higher education in the U.S. 3) The applicant is studying or interning abroad for at least four weeks in one country. Programs going to more than one country are eligible if the student will be in one country for at least four consecutive weeks. 4) The applicant is studying or interning abroad in any country except Cuba or a country on the U.S. Department of State's current Travel Warning list.

Jamey Leahey, Vice President of Legal Affairs and Gift Planning, is responsible for overseeing Centre College's legal obligations and regulations. Leahey serves Centre in several capacities. His primary roles are as the College's in-house attorney and as the director of the estate and planned giving programs with the development office. In the additional role of pre-law advisor, he works with students contemplating and preparing for law school and legal careers. During the CentreTerms, he teaches classes related to law, jurisprudence, and the judicial system.
