Amanda Blanton

Amanda Blanton is the Economic Development Manager for the Cobb Chamber Economic Development team and Select Cobb. Amanda supports the organization by providing essential research and demographic information to the Chamber membership as well as prospective companies and existing industries within Cobb County. Additionally, Amanda is working to promote international commerce connectivity to the Cobb business community. Amanda also serves as administrative support for the Development Authority of Cobb County and Cobb's Redevelopment Efforts. Prior to her role at the Chamber, Amanda was the Membership Manager for a premier golf community in Cashiers, North Carolina.

Amy Selby

As a self-described magazine junkie, Amy Selby spent the first part of her career in Atlanta's publishing industry. In her 10-plus years as an editor and writer she has covered parenting, health care, business, chiropractic care, real estate, education and women's interests. She has launched and redesigned publications, and picked up a few awards along the way. In March 2011, she joined the Cobb Chamber of Commerce as their marketing manager. As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, she manages the chamber's branding, marketing, and communication strategies, the chamber's membership and economic development ad campaigns, and is a member of the chamber's senior leadership team. She currently serves as co-chair of the Cobb County Public Safety Appreciation Breakfast committee, she's a member of the Smith-Gilbert Gardens Foundation Board, and a member of the Give Our Schools a Hand committee. She is a graduate of the 2014-2015 Leadership Cobb class.

Dana Johnson

Dana Johnson was named Executive Director of SelectCobb and Executive Vice President of Economic Development at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce in January of 2019. Under his leadership, Dana will focus his efforts on business recruitment and retention, assisting the local business community with their workforce development needs, and developing and implementing the county's first international business strategy. Dana is joining a strong team at the Cobb Chamber that has a history of supporting and advocating on behalf of the business community in Cobb. Prior to his current role, Dana was appointed Director of the Cobb County Community Development Agency in 2015. In his time leading Community Development he has focused on the nuts and bolts of the agency to ensure that it is running smoothly and efficiently, concentrating on the end user experience. Under his leadership, the county has expanded e-government capabilities by creating online submission platforms for business license renewals, site plan reviews, inspection results, and structural plan reviews. In 2017, Johnson assisted with the reorganization of Economic Development within Cobb County and implemented the reorganization plan. Dana understood that good customer service was part of the county's economic development strategy, which is why his tenure with Community Development ensured that the agency's customers and the public were able to engage and conduct their business with ease and transparency. Johnson has a B.A. in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Masters in City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has a Certificate of Local Government Management from the University of Georgia Carl Vincent Institute. He has also Completed Leadership Cobb and the Regional Leadership Institute. He has worked in the Cobb Community for over eighteen years. He is happily married and lives in East Cobb.

J Nelson Geter

J Nelson Geter serves as the Executive Director of the Development Authority of Cobb County. The DACC is noted as one of the most well-run and highest return on investment authority for taxpayers in Georgia. The Authority provides competitive tax incentives and bond financing for competitive projects creating jobs and high investment. Nelson retired from Georgia Power as its Metro East Region Manager after thirty-five years of service. Nelson graduated from Savannah State University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Stephanie Cox

Stephanie Cox is the Senior Manager of Investor Relations & Events for the Cobb Chamber Economic Development team and SelectCobb. Stephanie supports the organization with investor recruitment and retention and specializes in ensuring SelectCobb Investors receive the most benefits with their support of the SelectCobb mission. Stephanie is also charged with planning and executing all SelectCobb events and meetings. Stephanie is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and prior to her role at the Chamber, Stephanie worked with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce in Metairie, Louisiana and the JAX Chamber in Jacksonville, Florida.
