We are very pleased to announce that Digital Equity Association has developed, in association with The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), an election monitoring framework using an AI-driven tool to monitor hate speech on social media relating to the general election in Kenya that takes place on 9th August 2022. The monitoring tool is being used by the Kenyan Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for real-time reporting on levels and targets of hate speech, so that the commission can respond accordingly...
