Hello, my name is Dan Hines and I am the owner and operator of Hines Training and Consulting... As a young man I had the opportunity to work with kids as a summer camp counselor, youth speaker, and volunteer at my church working with the high school youth group for many years. I began my journey working with kids with trauma histories in 1984. I was hired as a shift supervisor at a coed facility for kids 7-18 years of age where I worked for 5 years. In my second year I gained my instructor certification in the Mandt Crisis Intervention Program and trained all new staff at the agency. In 1987 I was given the opportunity to travel to Topeka Kansas and put on training for a number of police officers.
