With the "Design Collaborations Japan - Denmark 150 years" exhibition, I wish to celebrate and honour a historic and strong relation between our two nations. To me, the anniversary is a reminder of the importance of good relations and of our mutual history - it is about the will and desire to work together and to join forces to accomplish something more than we are capable of achieving as individuals. We celebrate history by creating new stories together and with design brought to life by the hands of Japanese and Danish craftsmen.
