Our office coffee service is an exciting new business, but as a company we're certainly not new. Eastern started back in the 70's as a local meat purveyor, serving local customers in the foodservice industry. Through the years, we've grown and expanded to offer an extensive range of foodservice products... We're 100% Nova Scotian owned and operated. We were proud to be local back then, and we're proud to be local today. We buy from local suppliers whenever possible, we spend locally, we give back to the local community and our customers tell us that our local service is second-to-none. We're also independent, which gives us the freedom to put our customers' needs first and find the best solutions. We're not handcuffed by big distributor rules and we don't push customers into products or restrictive agreements that benefit us more than them. Never have. Never will...
