Alessia Cappelletti

Alessia is Intelligence Analyst and Project Manager of DEWIS. She has field experience in South America and she has conducted research on geopolitical shifts, especially Russian and Chinese interests in South and Central America and organized crime and illicit flows around the world. Her academic background includes conflict analysis, international humanitarian law, human rights protection, and criminology.

Alex Jansen

With more than 20 years of operational and managerial experience in aviation, Alex is an expert in Ground - and Flight Operations. He started his career as a student pilot in the Royal Netherlands air force and has a background in airline- and airport operations, Alex's focus is on Aviation training and safety. Alex published several reports for the European Commission regarding training and safety which resulted in changes in legislation in the European Union. He also assists EASA as an external partner regarding incident & accident investigation.

Annette Bross

Annette holds a bachelor's degree in History from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She has now moved to the Netherlands to pursue a master's at Leiden University in International Relations and Diplomacy. She is passionate about development, climate action, public policy, and security challenges with a strong commitment to social justice. She has experience in researching topics like the influence of soft power in Latin America and the Middle East.

Annick Dingemans

With a background in the hospitality business and educated in Security Risk & Intelligence Management, Annick ensures that the business runs smoothly, effectively, and professionally. She also supports Dyami's marketing and communication activities and is responsible for communication with clients. Besides running dyami's operations, Annick is also an - European Union Aviation Safety Agency - auditor and involved with Dyami Aviation.

Chiara Longmore

Chiara is originally from Scotland; however, she has moved to the Netherlands to complete a master's at Leiden University in International Relations and Diplomacy. With an interdisciplinary background, her bachelor's was in Liberal Arts, she has analysed situations of violence and conflict with a multi-disciplinary framework, in particular with Political Science, Anthropology, and Sociology. Through this, she developed an interest in the local level context of conflict, particularly when asking why or how violent conflicts emerge.

Eric Schouten - CEO, Founder

Dyami's founder Eric Schouten has a 13-year career working for the Dutch general intelligence and security service. Gaining a successful background in security threats and countermeasures. He is skilled in crisis management and enabling his network to work on common goals and challenges. As a liaison to the aviation security sector he helped secure airport and airline operations. He was involved in establishing the Dutch national expert group for overflights of conflict zones and founded and participated in many other security-related working groups. Using his communication and instructional skills he trained thousands of trainees in security awareness programs. After registering Dyami, Eric formed an ambitious team of analysts and very experienced hand-picked experts from his expansive network.

Frank Koelewijn

Frank started his career as a government employee and switched to aviation security in 2003. He developed and executed inflight security training programs specialized in business aviation. Frank focuses especially on security awareness to provide the flight crew with the knowledge and tools needed to ensure their and the company's safety while abroad. Alongside training, Frank also works as a teacher at the MBO level, focusing on security, law, and regulations. He now joins the Dyami, bringing his training expertise to the team.

Iskander Hannivoort - CEO

Aside from being an experienced Airline Captain, he is active as an entrepreneur and investor. Jacob Dickinson

Jacob studies Global Political Economy at Leiden University. He is passionate about international development and is looking to expand his expertise in geopolitics and crisis management. Curious about other cultures, he has travelled in Europe and Asia for both academic study and professional purposes. His expertise includes subjects like the geopolitics of energy, China's international political economy, and the implications of globalized supply chains for industrial policy. He is particularly interested in the evolving political and economic relationships between China and ASEAN, and the consequences for regional development and security.

Jo Schoenmaker

Jo Schoenmaker is a pilot and aviation security expert. For the airline pilots associations VNV, ECA and IFALPA he was member and (vice) chairman of the security committees and participated in the very wide variety of international (i.e. ICAO, ECAC, EU) platforms and all national security platforms and working groups. For Transavia Airlines he set up security manuals, procedures and training and held several positions. Jo has a background in the Dutch National Police as an officer and pilot. He also has a wide experience as pilot - flight instructor/examiner on the Boeing 737, training developer/ instructor in the field of aviation safety and crew management. With this wide variety of competencies and experience, Jo has a broad picture and overview of all different elements in the aviation (security) arena and the translation into formal and practical solutions.

John Korver

He was responsible for upgrading airport security and modification the airport's security concept at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, to effectively meet present and anticipated threats. An important aspect of John Korver's career was to continuously ensure strict compliance with all international and local security requirements. Formerly he was responsible for global security operations in addition to heading up quality, audit, and training activities. He was responsible for the security process of high-risk flights at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, in close relation with the Ministry of Justice, Netherlands, and the TSA. He has extensive experience developing and implementing airport security concepts, conducting audits, risk assessments, managing people in the security environment, and client relations. Jos Meijer

Jos Meijer is an experienced aviation professional with over 36 years within KLM. His expertise covers various areas, like contract/vendor management, customs, airport processes. His last position was focused on privacy / data protection. Jos has gained vast knowledge of the EU General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) and how to implement subject requirements in a (large) international organization. He recognizes the advantage of the use of personal data, but also the risks related to the same. Moreover the use of personal data in relation to security is a familiar topic for Jos, like the use of PNR/API data in the aviation environment.

Kevin Heller

Marcel den Boer

Marcel has many years of experience working for the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Justice and Security, both on a national and international level. His knowledge and skills in the fields of aviation security, behavioral recognition, and defensibility resulted in the establishment of his own training agency Training of Mars, which has clients in aviation, health care, and training companies. His approach is mainly aimed at the prevention of escalations: therefore, recognizing deviant behavior and situations is an integral part of the training. Mohammad Al-Weshahi

Mr. Al-Weshahi is a counter-terrorism expert, in the business of actionable intelligence collection aimed at disrupting terrorist activities. He has 26 years of experience working as a counter-terrorism operations officer at the Central Intelligence Agency. He has accumulated liaising experience with more than 55 countries, and he has successfully helped build over 40 counter-terrorism operations projects around the world. Mr. Al-Weshahi's main drive is to help inoculate future generations against Islamic extremism and thereby ensuring the safety of individuals and communities. As of 2022, Mr. Al-Weshahi started his own consultancy in the Netherlands that offers tradecraft and intelligence training and provides consultancy services in both fields. He joined Team Dyami in April 2022.

Remco Slijkhuis

Remco Slijkhuis worked more than 10 years in the airport industry. Expert on baggage handling, Security Policy and Security R&D. He implemented Std 3 Baggage Scanners in an existing baggage handling system and was one of the team members who developed de Security Lane at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. In his last roll as Security Manager at Lelystad Airport part of the Royal Schiphol Group) he developed an airport security program (ASP), started projects to implement CCTV and Access Control and had a big roll in Landside (public) Security Planning and Realisation. Remco is a real people person. Loves to make connection on governmental-, board-, policy- and operational level.

Rob Aarssen

Rob has 43 years of experience at the Dutch Department of Defense as a security officer, and is now a physical security specialist at Dyami. His extensive experience is available to assist companies with advice on the physical protection of their crown jewels. He started at Air Force Security and after four years switched to the Royal Netherlands Navy, with the Marine Security Corps. (MBK) Here he held management positions for 18 years. Since 2006 he has been a security advisor with the Royal Netherlands Navy. After a number of years, he switched to the organization in The Hague as an advisor and since 2010 working as an advisor at the Defense Surveillance and Security Organization. (DBBO) This organization works defense-wide, in other words for all defense units, army, air force, navy, marechaussee and civilian units. From this organization he also advised all defense units to a greater or lesser extent. Specialized in the OBE mix, Organizational Structural and Electronic security measures. Rob has been involved in various major defense projects, such as the redesign of the security of the former Soesterberg airbase, now Camp New Amsterdam, but also broadly involved Defense in the renewal of electronic security. He transfers his knowledge by providing information to security officers within defense.

Ron Geraets

Ron Geraets delivers his Security Risk & Intelligence Management expertise to clients of Dyami. As a trainer and consultant he enables Dyami to fulfil its goal to help organisations work more secure. He has spent most of his career at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Buitenlandse Zaken). He was employed in multiple functions, such as policy officer for development cooperation. The last ten years at Foreign Affairs he fulfilled the office of Director of Security Services and Crisis Management. He travelled frequently to high-risk areas. Over the years, he has built a vast national and international network in the field of intelligence and security. Since 2005, he is working mostly as a consultant on intelligence and security for central and decentral governments. He provided training for the Special Security Missions Brigade (BSB). And since 2014 he developed training and published books on the topic of Security Risk & Intelligence Management. Ron Geraets is a member of various professional associations and is a "familiar face" in the relevant network.

Ruben Pfeijffer

Ruben is a graduated anthropologist who currently follows the MA program Conflict Studies and Human Rights at Utrecht University. While working on his bachelor thesis in the Netherlands during the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak, Ruben gained experience with conducting ethnographic research under the challenging circumstances of the pandemic and has learned to be adaptable with his research methods. He grew up with a fascination for historic conflict and likes to make field trips to famous battle sites together with his father. His current interest lies primarily in disinformation campaigns, conspiracy theories and online fringe communities.

Sander van Genderen

Sander has over 20 years of experience in the airline industry as a flight attendant for several Dutch airlines. Currently active in Business Class. He has knowledge of various roles in the field of security. Sander is also practiced as a firearms instructor in European Police Parcours. His strength is bringing teams together, enhancing team performance and reaching common goals. He achieves this through personal coaching and a problem solving/ decision making and people-oriented approach. As a person, Sander truly connects with the people around him and has excellent communicative skills. Sander is a valuable asset, due to his knowledge of aviation and travel experience.

Sanne Bijhouer

With a degree in communication and 13 years of experience working as a cabin attendant for three Dutch airlines, Sanne was bound to join the two together. From the start, she has been passionate about the safety and security part of her job. She therefore became a flight safety and security instructor for a major airline. She trained cabin attendants and pilots on the subject of evacuation procedures, security measures and working under pressure as a team.

Sietske Moshuldayev

Sietske Moshuldayev has an international background and is inherently intrigued by the causes and consequences of geopolitical events. She has completed two bachelors at the University of Leiden (International Studies, BA & Political Science, BSc) and currently pursues a masters in International Security at Sciences Po, Paris. Having specialized in East Asian affairs for her undergraduate studies, she now focuses on global risks and risk management

Sytske is a graduate of International Studies and is currently enrolled in the Master's degree Conflict Studies and Human Rights at Utrecht University. This educational background has provided her with an interdisciplinary understanding of violent conflict and security. Willem de Bruin

After completing his military service with the Dutch Royal Navy, Willem de Bruin joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his 43-year career in the Foreign Service, he has served in 13 diplomatic and consular Missions in Europe, Asia and Australasia. Willem was posted at embassies in high risk areas like Beijing (Tiananmen uprising), Tehran (Islamic revolution and Iraq - Iran war) and a five-year posting in Islamabad where, as First Secretary of the Embassy he led a team detecting corruption and fraud within the local Administration with the aim of preventing identity fraud, illegal migration and people smuggling to Europe . Upon completing of his assignment in Pakistan he was appointed Head of the Department of Special Investigations at the Security Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
