Our company, known today as East Coast Boatlifts, was founded in 1990 by Charlie and Charlie "the Bells" - father and son. Little Charlie, the son, started working in the South Florida Boat Lift and Marine Construction Industry in 1985 at the age of 17. Big Charlie, Dad, joined Little Charlie in 1990 after 25 years in the retail industry... Our goal is to continue developing and fabricating the finest boat lifts available in South Florida, and to give our customers and dealers the best quality and service available anywhere... In 1995, we decided to begin manufacturing our own boat lifts, to fill a void left in South Florida by the demise of other local companies. We have designed and engineered our lifts, taking the best design features from others in the industry and putting them together.
