AKINTUNDE EMIOLA

Located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH/NIDCR), the Emiola lab is interested in understanding the function of microbial communities and how they can be explored for therapeutic purposes. Specifically, we seek to use bioinformatic, genomic and molecular biology tools to discover new therapeutic compounds and identify microbial signatures for early detection of diseases... Happy to share that I will officially start my lab on August 1. Looking forward to exciting research on the microbiome and collaboration with new colleagues!
