Excel Family & Youth Society (EFYS) was established to fill the gap between NGO's and our growing, diverse communities. We bring together professionals, community associations, and faith-based organizations, in one medium, to work together towards building stronger, safer, and more productive communities... Currently, we are working together to educate and inspire all ethnic immigrant groups from Ethiopia and Eritrea to make healthy and positive choices for their lives in Canada. Our society is a bridge between Canadian and ethnic cultural systems. Our goal is to build a stronger community, which can play a positive role in Canadian society and help newcomers to become well-integrated, productive, successful, and proud citizens... Excel Family Youth Society is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that provides Ethiopian youth programs, family support programs and newcomer support services.
