Mike Carroll is strength and conditioning coach specialising in the physical training of golfers. Originally from Cork, Mike has been based in Orange County California since 2016. Mike provides practical golf fitness tips through his various social media channels under the name @fit_for_golf. Through the creation of the Fit For Golf App he has been able to help over 2,000 golfers improve their golf and fitness. He also trains a number of players on the PGA and European Tour. Mike is an avid golfer himself and appreciates the struggles of the everyday player! Mike is a valued member of the Fairways and FunDays team. He continues to play a very active role in the growth of Fairways and FunDays on the west coast of the United States.

I first picked up a golf club at the age of 6 playing pitch n putt. At the age of 10 my father took me to Dromoland Golf & Country Club where I fell in love for the first time with the game we all love. I've been lucky enough to play golf at all level's both as an amateur and now as a PGA Golf Professional, however the one thing I've always kept is my love for the game of golf. I love to help golfer's improve their game as much as I enjoy playing the game of golf. I've always wanted to play a little more, meet new people and help golfers out anyway I can so Fairways and FunDays gives me the perfect opportunity to do all of these.

Peter Lawrie

Peter Lawrie is one Ireland's most successful golf professionals of all time. After an outstanding amateur career, Peter turned professional in 2002. He became the first and only Irishman to be named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year in 2003, following an exceptional first year on the European PGA Tour. This title has since been won by the likes of Martin Kaymer, Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka. Peter won the Open de EspaƱa (formerly the Spanish Open) in 2008. This is the national open golf championship of Spain and Peter joined Arnold Palmer, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Sergio Garcia and Colin Montgomerie in winning this prestigious tournament. In addition to this win, he finished in the Top 3 on three other occasions at the Spanish Open.

In the past, Phil has worked on a number of major golf course construction projects in Ireland before specialising in the Golf Tourism and Golf Course management industries. Phil has extensive experience within Logistics and Group Travel and has been personally responsible for implementing arrangements for travel of groups of up to 200 clients throughout the world. Phil brings this expertise to Fairways and FunDays. Phil is passionate about Ireland and firmly believes that Ireland has all of the attributes to become the global leader in terms of Golf Tourism. Phil is himself an avid golfer and represented a number of teams in the past. In conjunction with his wife and the team employed by Fairways and FunDays, Phil has grown Fairways and FunDays from a family business into an industry leader within the Golf Tourism sector.

Sinead Sexton

I started playing golf at the age of 11 at a 9 hole course near my home called Spanish Point Golf Club, like many children my age I was playing a variety of other sports at the time but once I started to really enjoy playing golf I joined Lahinch Golf Club, Both are links golf courses located on the West coast of Ireland and I'm a very proud Honorary Life Member of both clubs today. I have played International level golf with Ireland at Girls and Ladies level. Unlike many girls at my level in Ireland I decided not to go to the States on a Golf Scholarship, I completed my Undergrad in Business & Management in Ireland at Maynooth University while on the Paddy Harrington Golf Scholarship Programme and my Masters in Sport Management at the University of Stirling in Scotland while on the International Sport Scholarship Programme. Over the summer months I have caddied at Lahinch Golf Club for 10 years and I have worked at Trump Doonbeg in the Golf Shop. For the past 3 winters I have spent my time in Boca Raton, Florida working at Woodfield Country Club in Golf Operations. I'm new to the Professional side of the game as I have recently made the transition from Amateur to Professional golf at the start of 2020. I'm looking forward to exploring the teaching side of the game and sharing my knowledge with my students especially the shots required for the Irish wind! I am excited to join the team at Fairways and FunDays, I am very proud to be Irish and our company has revolutionised the Golf Vacation experience by providing the Ultimate Golf and Ireland experience for all our clients.
