Coalition underscores our philosophy to bring together hospitals, healthcare organizations, businesses and government into a coordinated partnership that is committed to reducing the mortality and morbidity of sepsis for achieving the best outcomes and value for patient care... Survival represents our commitment to hospitals and clinicians for providing access to the tools and financial support for increasing a patient's chance of survival and the best quality of life... The Coalition has been formed as a facilitation body to encourage early recognition and effective treatment of sepsis, to decrease mortality rates through partnerships focused on public awareness and support to hospitals. The Coalition provides a network of resources, utilizing the most effective tools, for achieving the best, demonstrated practice in the management of sepsis.
