Dr Cormac Callanan CDPO - Chief Security Officer - With a depth of working experience on international cybercrime activities Cormac has worked with Interpol, governmental agencies and the judiciary in many states. He is currently a member of the Europol industry advisory group and the Irish national advisory council for online safety, and a director of the ICS. Cormac has a PhD in data protection risks on mobile devices, an M.Sc. in advanced security and digital forensics (GCHQ Certified) and an MSc in Computer Systems Design.
Pat has worked with KPMG, the NAB Group globally, across three Irish clearing banks on Op. Risk & Compliance projects, with AIBIM/Davy in the unitized life business and within the credit unions sector. He has also been a long term chair of Chartered Accountant Interim Managers. His advisory focus is on strategic, operation, process and remedial activities relating to Governance, Risk and Compliance. Pat is a Chartered Accountant, and has a BComm and LIB.
Paul Griffin BComm, CDPO, CFCPP; CEO - A Certified Data Protection Officer with a wide range of industry experience in sectors including financial services, industry, national bodies, and international organisations. Paul has managed business operations across Europe and North America for a division of a FTSE 100 Plc, and held directorship, investment and advisory roles.
An IT consultant who has worked with Oracle Corporation in the UK and the US delivering IT solutions in utilities, financial services, governmental and software engineering sectors across many geographies. With broad technical experience spanning 30 years, Paul advises on IT strategy, project implementation, system design, development, integration and delivery.
