AMY SWARTZ

Amy has over 20 years corporate finance experience, with a background in investment banking, strategy and technology with a strong focus on cross-border transactions. She has global experience in compliance and the fiduciary duties of directors and responsible persons. Her experience encompasses North America, Europe, Australia, Japan, China, SE Asia and the Middle East. She has worked directly with hundreds of start-up technology companies.

DYLAN BUTLER

Dylan came into First Penny after buy-side analysis in private equity. He worked as a private equity analyst at Australia's second search fund. Prior to that, he helped run the seed funding arm of the Bond University business accelerator. He is a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance Major from Bond University. Dylan has worked around SME and growing enterprises for his entire career. His first job was in sales and lead research at a start-up. He consulted with various entrepreneur-led start-ups, which ultimately led to his role in the management of Transformer Launchpad: a program aimed at providing seed funding to start-ups in the Bond University community. Meanwhile, he successfully revived the Bond Student-Managed Fund and as chief, oversaw a dizzying period of relationship development, headcount expansion and asset allocation. He has run his own consulting business and has successfully implemented a payroll system automation at a rapidly expanding company. Dylan brings his technical and financial knowledge to First Penny Investments, as well as his buy-side experience, his passion for growth and strategic eye.

Henry is a Sydney based serial entrepreneur who has founded, operated and successfully exited over 20+ businesses since the 1990s. He started his professional career in 1992, as the Statistician for AGB McNair which subsequently became The Nielsen Company. After his stint at AGB, Henry moved on to doing political polling at Newspoll (Subsidiary of WPP and News Limited), which at that time had the most accurate poll, and was frequently featured in The Australian newspaper.

Prior, Jerry served as Group Finance Director at Countrywide Communications and was in charge of finance, legal and administration functions for a leading European PR group also providing advertising and political lobbying services. Jerry ran the successful sale of the group to Omnicom, following which the group was merged with the US-based consultancy Porter Novelli.

Having been a Senior Manager of Network 10 in Australia in the 1970s, he became General Manager, Corporate Planning for The News Corporation and spent six years running M&A for Rupert Murdoch. In that time News purchased Ansett Airlines, Chanel 10 Melbourne ,the London Times Group and the Herald & Times Group.
