FONHDAD

The FONHDAD is a non-profit organization whose mission is to modernize Haiti's agricultural domain with the introduction of new techniques, new fertilizers and new improved equipment to achieve better yields and better ways to commercialize its products... FONHDAD has built an outstanding relationship with local and international partners intervening in the agricultural sector. As key beneficiaries, farmers' organizations participate actively in the decision-making process, allowing the Foundation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the needs of rural communities in Haiti and effectively address them. Since its creation, FONHDAD has partnered as well with USAID, United States of Department of Agriculture (USDA), University of Florida (UF), University of UC Davis, to name a few, to support the development of the agricultural sector in Haiti. The Foundation has created the Reseau National des Centres Ruraux de Développement Rural (RN-CRDD), an initiative aiming to create synergy..
