Prior to her promotion, she served as Senior Director of Customer Services and Stakeholder Engagement. She joined FortisTCI in 2008 as Supervisor of Financial Services. In 2011 she was promoted to Manager of Financial Services and played a key role in several major finance projects designed to improve the Company's treasury and financial reporting processes. In 2012 she was promoted to Director of Customer Services. As the leader in Customer Services, she focused on developing additional customer services in energy audits, automation of customer information and payments via the customer web portal as well as enhancing Revenue Protection Services. She has also served on the committee that developed and introduced Renewable Energy Programs in FortisTCI. Mrs. Laporte's goal within this role is to continuously enhance the customer experience at FortisTCI while ensuring that all stakeholder relationships are effectively maintained. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree with distinction in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. A year later she achieved the professional designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), while employed as Principal Auditor for the Turks and Caicos Islands Government. Following this, Mrs. Laporte expanded her auditing career by joining KPMG, one of the leading professional auditing firms in the TCI.

His extensive experience in the utility industry began at Turks and Caicos Utility (TCU) in Grand Turk, where as a college graduate, he was first employed in the Distribution and Metering Department. After a three-year stint, he left TCU in 1989 to work with the Turks and Caicos Government Planning Department Development Control Section in Grand Turk. In November 1995 he was transferred to Providenciales as Senior Officer with the Planning Department Building Control Section. A year later he began working with PPC Ltd. as Assistant Supervisor in the Metering Department. In 1999 he was promoted to Supervisor and managed the company's Meter Reading, Billing and Customer Services Department for all of PPC offices. Mr. Robinson attended Antigua State College in Antigua, where he studied Electrical Engineering. He earned an Associate degree in Building and Electrical Technology from the University of Technology (formerly CAST), Kingston, Jamaica.

Claudia Been-Munnings joined FortisTCI as Director of Human Resources (HR) in 2016. She serves as a key member of the senior management team, with responsibility for directing the company's human resource strategy, while promoting an employee-oriented organization culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, teamwork, engagement, high performance and excellence. With nearly two decades of experience in Human Resources Management, Mrs. Been-Munnings is an expert in recruitment, leadership, training, development, benefits, and compensation of employees. She is also well versed in public and private sector operations and Immigration and Labour relations within the Turks and Caicos Islands. Mrs. Been-Munnings has led all aspects of human resource functions during her tenures within the hospitality and aviation sectors. In the latter industry, she gained experience in the effective and successful development and implementation of HR and training systems in a highly regulated work environment. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica and has numerous HR-related certificates.

He joined FortisTCI in September 2012 in the capacity of Manager of Transmission and Distribution Design. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Laing worked with Fortis subsidiary Newfoundland Power in various roles from 1990, earning wide-ranging experience in several areas, including safety, project leadership, distribution planning and electrical engineering. During his years at Newfoundland Power he was a Team Lead Coordinator as a member of the Fortis Hurricane Response Team during Hurricane Ivan in Grand Cayman in 2004, Hurricane Ike in South Caicos in 2008, and most recently, Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017 in Turks & Caicos Islands. He is an active member of the Fortis Operating Group Environmental and Safety Committees. Prior to joining Newfoundland Power he served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Mr. Laing has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from the College of Trades and Technology, St. John's, Newfoundland. She has two decades of experience in microfinance, consulting, and utility industries. Prior to joining FortisTCI in the Turks and Caicos Islands, she was the head of internal audit and risk management at Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd (CUC) in the Cayman Islands and has been part of the consulting services of Deloitte Philippines. She also served as a finance executive in a European Union funded microfinance institution in the Philippines where she catalyzed improved financial sustainability and governance. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds professional certifications relating to corporate governance, risk management, information security, and energy innovation from leading institutions including the IIA, ISACA, ACFE and Stanford University. She has a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency from the Beuth University of Applied Sciences, Berlin. She was one of the founders and first vice chairman of the Board of The Institute of Internal Audit for its Cayman Islands chapter.

Prior to assuming the leadership role, Mrs. Forbes was Senior Vice President of Corporate Services, Chief Financial Officer, and Company Secretary. With over 15 years of experience in utilities, she has had oversight of several business functions including finance, internal audit, legal, customer service, corporate communications, human resources and supply chain management. Mrs. Forbes has a Diploma in Business Administration (Honors) from University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Barry University, Florida, USA.
