Sarah R. Jett began her legal career practicing corporate and family law in Atlanta, Georgia. While at her prior firms, Sarah gained valuable experience representing clients during pivotal seasons in their professional and personal lives. After a few years of representing clients in these crucial times, she felt compelled to take her passions for people and law and combine them to represent those injured as a result of the negligence of others. This desire led Sarah to Gary Martin Hays and Associates where she has worked for injured victims for the past seven years. Sarah has since been featured on the CW Atlanta TV Network where her expertise was called upon to discuss legal topics and answer questions about personal injury law in Georgia, including co-authoring The Authority on Tractor Trailer Claims in Georgia. When not advocating for her clients, Sarah enjoys traveling with her husband, baking, exploring the outdoors and volunteering at her church. Sarah is a past president of the Forsyth County Bar Association and a member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association. Sarah is a member of the Georgia Bar Association. She is also graduate of the 2018 Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy for the State Bar of Georgia. The leadership academy is a highly selective program intended for attorneys "interested in developing their leadership skills as well as learning more about their profession, their communities and their state."

Shaun Carter

Shaun Carter started his legal career in Clayton County, GA as a criminal defense attorney, gathering extensive trial experience before serving as an Assistant Solicitor General. Shaun also worked as Staff Counsel for one of the nation's largest automobile insurance companies, gaining experience in all phases of litigation. Shaun, however, desired to represent those injured and affected by the negligence of others, leading him to Gary Martin Hays and Associates. When Shaun is not working for his clients, he loves to travel and attend professional sporting events, cheering for the Braves, Falcons and Hawks. He also volunteers as a member and mentor with the Emerging 100 of Atlanta.
