Hello, my name is Alexandra Blanchard! It is such a privilege to be teaching at ACA! I am originally from California but am loving everything about the Pacific Northwest. I graduated from Simpson University in 2022 with an Elementary Education degree and have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching experience since! I met my sweet husband while in college and got married to him during the summer of 2022! I love getting to see young minds grow, both academically and in their relationships with the Lord.

Hello! I'm Amanda Sullivan. I am going on 16 years of marriage, and we have an 11-year-old daughter. It's my 5th year of aiding in Transitional Kindergarten here at ACA. I am passionate about teaching God's word to little ones and seeing them grow in God's love for them. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, watching movies, going to the beach, playing board games, and most importantly time spent with my family.

I have a degree in early childhood education and have many years of experience working with children in a preschool setting. I am married and happy to have my 3 sons at ACA.
Hello, my name is Amy James and I am honored to be the School's Nurse. Since graduating with a BSN from Northwest Nazarene University I spent the next 10+ years in emergency care then moved to surgery as we started our family here in Vancouver. I have a heart for serving and critical care but I decided to be at home with our daughters when we moved to Camas in 2018. Our daughters attend ACA and we have been overjoyed by the heart and mission of the school. As our school has grown the need arose for a part-time nurse, God is so good to have opened the door at a time that my heart was ready to serve once again. I look forward to caring for your kids, and our staff and working with you to create a safe environment for your kids to be all school year.
Hi everyone! My name is Amy and this will be my 6th year teaching dance at ACA! I am doubly blessed because not only do my kids attend school here, but I get to work along with my husband, Mr. Marc. Dance is how we met over 18 years ago and something we still enjoy doing together! The first part of my life was spent in OC California and then my family moved up here to the PNW. I went to PSU and graduated with my BA from WSU Vancouver. We have 3 beautiful children. I have been on competitive dance teams since my Freshman year of high school and have taught every age from 3 years old and beyond. I love that we can use an art form like dance to worship our mighty God and I love teaching kids not only moves but also the meaning and emotions behind the moves. I'm so excited for this year and what God will do in my life and all of these amazing kiddos!
Hello! I am so excited to call ACA home! This is my 16th year teaching and my second year at Agape. After graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a Masters Degree in Teaching, I returned home to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family. I am married to my husband, Nick, and we have two beautiful children who also attend ACA. After taking some time off from teaching to spend at home with my little ones, I am so excited to be returning to the classroom. I am so looking forward to this year in 4th grade again, getting to know my sweet students, deepening relationships with all of our ACA family, and the amazing learning experiences that are ahead.
My name is Ashley Schlauch and I have the privilege of serving as ACA's Principal. You will find me primarily on the Grace campus serving our preschool through second-grade students. I began with the school as a classroom teacher in 2009 and am excited to continue to grow and lead at ACA. Being born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest, my husband and I have three amazing children, two of whom attend ACA. I have been so blessed to see how God has grown ACA and am so thankful to be a part of this community!
I am excited to start my third year teaching at the ACA Middle School. I have a B.A. in English & Communications from Cascade College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland and I will be teaching English in the 2022-2023 school year. My son Wesley (6) and daughter Corlee (3) are my pride and joy and God has blessed me with a beautiful marriage to my college sweetheart. I serve a great God and I can't wait to share that with my students!
Hi there! I have worked at ACA since 2016. I now have the privilege of serving Agape Christian Academy as Admissions Director. My experience includes 14 years in administration within the medical field and several years in banking. I am a graduate of Battle Ground High School where I met my husband. Married for 45 years, we have been blessed with 4 children and 5 grandchildren. My 2 oldest grandchildren, Brycen, and Madelyn have had the wonderful experience of attending ACA through the 8th grade. I enjoy the great outdoors by working in my yard, camping, and walking the Camas trails. I love my ragdoll cat, Winston, who I dote over and spoil. I am ever so grateful and humbled to be a part of ACA and to serve ACA's wonderful families.

Hello all! I currently serve as our founder and Head of School. I started working with students in a formal setting while I was still in high school and have loved it ever since. After completing my Masters Degree in Education I started my career here in Camas. I have worked in both public and private education, both in the classroom and administration. I have a passion to see students of all ages learn and grow. I recognize that each student has God-given strengths and abilities and should be nurtured and taught to match those. My vision to provide Bible-based education that fosters Christ-like character development has helped to develop ACA into the school that it is today. My husband of 22 years and I have three children. As parents, we have seen firsthand the incredible impact that ACA has on students from an academic, social, spiritual, and physical standpoint as all of our children have graduated from ACA!
This is my 6th year at ACA and I have loved serving as one of our 3rd-grade teachers. I graduated from Northwest University in Kirkland and have been involved in education in different capacities ever since. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially in the outdoors; boating in the Puget Sound, camping, and hiking. I am a native of the Northwest, but throughout childhood had the opportunity to live in and experience many parts of our nation. The Lord has filled my heart with a love for different nations and cultures and, through the years, opened the doors for me to attend YWAM and participate in several overseas mission trips. As a teacher, I love sharing my experiences and God's heart with my students. It is so good to see children begin to see their purpose, potential, and the truth of the love that God has for them. I consider it a blessing to partner with your family and be just a small part of your child's story.
Hello! I'm Ms. O'Meara, ACA's Reading Support teacher, and I have a passion for helping students grow more confident in their reading skills. This will be my 9th year in education. I have a bachelors degree in Biblical Theology and Speech Communications as well as a Masters degree in elementary education, all from Multnomah University. I have 3 children and in my free time, I love spending time with them, being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, photography, journaling, and reading historical fiction.

Hello! I am part of the administrative team here at Agape Christian Academy. I have been employed at ACA since 2009. During my time at ACA, I have had the experience of teaching the 30-month, three-year-old, and Pre-K classes. In addition to teaching, I have moved into the role of the school bookkeeper as of early 2015. I am now working as bookkeeper and registrar in the office full-time here at ACA. I love living in Camas with my husband, Wes, and two children, Brycen and Madelyn.
Hello everyone, my name is Mrs. Ring and I have been married to my husband Dan for 14 years, and together we have two precious little girls; Jadyn and Ava. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Portland State University in 2003 and have enjoyed my work in both residential architectural design and residential interior design, as well as my experience in event planning. I feel so blessed to be Dean of Students and I look forward to continuing my work serving in other capacities to help ACA develop and flourish throughout the coming years.

I am Jamie Smith and I am very excited to start my first year teaching MS & HS at ACA! My husband and I have 3 beautiful children, and before I was blessed with being their mother, I taught high school for 6 years. I was a Culinary Arts (Home Ec) teacher and LOVED it, and I am so excited to be able to teach this subject here at ACA! Currently, I run a large profitable flower farm on my property (Jamie's Dahlias) and when I am not weeding or harvesting flowers at home, my favorite place to be is at church worshiping and dancing with my family. We also love to camp, hike, and explore the beauty of the gorge around us!
I am delighted to be part of the ACA staff again this year! I am married to my college sweetheart and we have two children who attend ACA. I graduated from WSU Pullman with dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology and a Master's in School Counseling. I have previously worked as a K-8 school counselor and currently lead the kid's ministry at my local church. When I'm not at school or church you will find me out and about on family adventures, at CrossFit, or at home getting crafty and playing board games. I am passionate about teaching children the love of Christ and am grateful to be able to do so through school counseling at ACA.

Since then I have lived in Hawaii, Georgia, Oregon, and now Washington. I've been planted in the PNW since 2015 and have absolutely loved exploring the outdoors! During my time here I've earned an MBA - Human Resources from George Fox University. I have experience in HR and as a high school/college student advisor and I look forward to using my experience to further the mission of ACA with all staff and high school students.
