Simon is an experienced trial attorney who has practiced law in Washington State for over 20 years. He began his career as a prosecuting attorney in King County, going on to work as a civil city attorney in King and Kitsap Counties. He currently focuses his practice on Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Estate Planning, Probate, and Criminal Defense. Simon is known for his tenacity and for using creative arguments to achieve what his clients need. He once convinced an insurance company to pay for fire damage to a home after the client built a fire in their bedroom on their bed causing over $250,000.00 in damages. Stephen has practiced law in Olympia since 1975 and was a Certified Financial Planner for 25 years. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, reserved for attorneys who have obtained a verdict or settlement in excess of one million dollars. In addition to receiving the Thurston County Bar Association Bigelow Award for Lawyer of the Year for 2002, Stephen has also served as president of his local Rotary club. Stephen has held numerous leadership positions in both the Thurston County and Washington State Bar Associations and earned the highest pre eminent rating for his legal skills in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.
