HCC Hanseatic Commodity Trading GmbH is an independent and private trading house located in Hamburg. Originally founded in 1990 as HCC Hanseatic Coal & Coke Trading GmbH , we predominantly specialized in the trade of solid fuels for the energy market. The reformulated aim of climate policy during the EU / UN climate conference in 2021 provide for coal phase-out. We also faced this new challenge: Expanding our portfolio in sectors like biomass, raw materials in general and byproducts for the cement industry, we initiated the transformation from coal to other commodities... As a reliable partner and the reputation we gained throughout the years in the electricity market, the steel- , cement- and paper industry we offer individual solutions to our customers. Our multilingual employees form the basis for our global sourcing and the main emphasis of marketing in European markets. Regions such as Middle and Near East as well as Africa replenish our customer portfolio.
