Robyn Browne

Robyn (Ritter) Browne received her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from James Madison University in 2016. Prior to receiving her Au.D., Dr. Browne was a science teacher in the Richmond area after she had earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) in 2004. While at CCU, she competed as a scholarship athlete on the track and cross-country teams; earning Team MVP, Conference Champion and All-Academic honors. She is dually licensed as an Audiologist and a Hearing Aid Specialist in the state of Virginia. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and holds a certificate of clinical competency through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Browne has a special interest in hearing aids and assistive listening devices and enjoys working one-on-one with each patient to assist them in hearing better. She prides herself on providing quality, individualized, and personable care. As someone that has had hearing loss since childhood and wears hearing aids herself, she understands the struggles of living with hearing impairment and the difficulties experienced in adapting to hearing aids. Dr. Browne was voted as one of the best Audiologists in the Richmond VA area for ‘bedside manner' in the 2018 edition of OurHealth magazine. Some of her other accomplishments include: finishing the Boston Marathon and Ironman Lake Placid as well as being inducted into her High School's inaugural athletic hall of fame. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and mountain biking.
