Roselyn leads the teachers in shadow support, collaborating with schools and professionals through integration, advocacy, and professional training.
Roselyn Vega Saez is a trained physiotherapist and experienced special education professional. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Perpetual Help, the Philippines and her Master's Degree in Special Education from Flinders University, Australia.
Roselyn has been working with children with different learning disorders since 1998 as a physiotherapist. In 2000, she started working as a special educator with special schools such as AWWA, Genesis School, intervention and therapy centers and supporting the integration of students in mainstream schools.
As a special education teacher, Roselyn has worked with students as young as 2 years old to 18 years old. She uses different methodologies such as TEACCH, PECS, Social Thinking strategies, Applied Behavioral Therapy, Orton-Gillingham Approach and Visualizing and Verbalizing (Lindamood-Bell).
In addition to this, Roselyn actively conducts parent and teacher training workshops, assembly talks to schools and holds a paramount position in an international parent support group.
I believe that "Continuity" is the keyword- to always work on how we can support continuity in their learning from early childhood to school years, through adulthood towards independence.
