Aaron Slavutin

Aaron Slavutin is a business litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation under Chapter 11. Aaron has experience representing debtors and other entities in out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 proceedings, and post-bankruptcy litigation. Aaron also has experience in cross-border insolvencies and Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) liquidations across a range of industries, including chemical, energy, and financial services. Prior to joining Jacobs, P.C., Aaron worked in the New York offices of several international law firms in their bankruptcy and restructuring groups. There, he gained both debtor and creditor experience that has proven invaluable for his current Chapter 11 clients. He also clerked for the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and has experience serving as a certified financial advisor.

Adam Sherman

Adam Sherman is a Partner at Jacobs, P.C. Adam's principal practice areas are as follows: real estate and partnership disputes, commercial litigation, landlord/tenant actions, and labor and employment disputes. Prior to joining Jacobs PC, Adam was counsel at boutique litigation firm Catafago Fini LLP, in midtown Manhattan. At Catafago Fini LLP, Adam represented clients across a wide range of practice areas, including but not limited to real estate and partnership disputes, commercial litigation, landlord/tenant actions, labor and employment disputes (including defending class action lawsuits), professional malpractice, securities fraud class actions, defamation, and commercial transactions.

David Aminov

David Aminov is an Associate at Jacobs P.C., with a focus on real estate litigation, commercial litigation, and labor and employment disputes in state and federal courts. David represents employers, developers, and businesses in a wide range of substantive complex matters. David maintains a zealous tenacity for his clients, and this is prevalent in his experience drafting pleadings and motions, providing out-of-the-box strategies, and arguing for his clients in the courtroom. Prior to joining the firm, David represented and counseled employers in their labor and employment practices, defending them from claims arising from discrimination and retaliation, and ensuring that their practices were compliant with Federal, State and Local laws. David earned his undergraduate degree from CUNY Queens College and his Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law. David Leifer

David is the senior paralegal at Jacobs, P.C. David has 25 years of experience as a litigation and bankruptcy paralegal, in both New York and San Francisco. He has worked on numerous high-profile, complex securities class action litigations, including In re IPO Securities Litigation, In re Prudential Securities Inc. Ltd. Partnership Litigation, and In re Petrobras Securities Litigation, along with various other matters involving securities fraud, consumer privacy, sovereign debt default, product liability, antitrust, and corporate malfeasance. He has extensive experience with legal research, case settlement and administration, and appellate practice in both federal and state courts.

Eduard Kushmakov

Eduard Kushmakov is associate attorney at Jacobs, P.C. Eduard also handles white-collar criminal matters on behalf of firm clients and their directors and officers, including administrative violations. Eduard finds creative solutions to challenging problems for his clients. Focused and tenacious, he has obtained key dismissals of complex multi-part claims seeking millions of dollars in purported damages against his clients. He has secured dismissal of numerous matters prior to trial. Eduard has extensive experience drafting and arguing motions and appeals, conducting and defending depositions, formulating litigation strategies, and counseling clients throughout all phases of litigation. Eduard graduated from New York Law School's Two Year Honor's Program, was on the Dean's List, and a member of the Trial Competition Team, Litigation Clinic, and Patent Clinic. Linda DiLorenzo - CFO

Linda DiLorenzo is our firm's CFO; she holds a CPA license in both New York and New Jersey. Linda has over 40 years of experience in the accounting industry and a 1978 graduate of SUNY-Albany's School of Business. She joined Price Waterhouse and Co., in NYC in 1978 before joining Pan American World airways in 1980. She held various positions at Pan Am and stayed with them through 1996 to assist in the bankruptcy process. After consulting for KLM Royal Dutch airlines and Liberty Helicopters she moved into the law firm arena in 1998. She was the Controller/CFO at Trenk, DiPasquale, Della Fera & Sodono, PC, in New Jersey through February 2015. Their practice was heavily focused on Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation. She then joined Teitler & Teitler, LLP a boutique law firm in NYC which provided counseling to high-net-worth clients in navigating disputes, crisis management, as well as trust and estate matters. Linda then joined SurePoint Technologies in 2019. SurePoint is the leading provider of award-winning software that improves workflow and maximizes financial performance and profitability for law firms. As a relationship manager she supported over 70 law firms and as a solutions engineer she was responsible for installation, training and problem solving for the firm. In her spare time Linda enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She truly enjoys her summers at the Jersey shore. She as volunteered over the years in both local and state politics and has held many positions as the treasurer for local campaigns and school PTA's. She is presently a board member of her condo association where she resides with her husband in West Orange, New Jersey.

Muriel Raggi

Muriel Raggi has almost a decade of experience representing public companies, private entities and high net worth individuals in complex cases involving commercial litigation, white collar defense, and securities enforcement. Muriel also maintains a robust pro-bono practice in which she has represented indigent defendants in a wide range of criminal matters in federal and state court, ranging from low-level street crimes like shoplifting to racketeering narcotic conspiracies and Hobbs Act robberies. Muriel has also represented victims of sexual assault in the military's Court Martial process, indigent parents in Family Court custody proceedings, and refugees in navigating the asylum process. Muriel successfully obtained a pardon for a man who spent almost 30 years in prison for a robbery and rape he did not commit. Robert M. Sasloff

Robert M. Sasloff is a Partner in the Firm's Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Practice. This practice focuses primarily on debtor and creditors' rights, in bankruptcy and in out-of-court settlements. Robert has been practicing since 1990. Robert has advised clients on a wide range of matters including but not limited to (1) Chapter 11 reorganizations; (2) Chapter 7 liquidations; (3) representing landlords and dealing leases and other forms of executory contracts in all bankruptcy cases; (4) restructuring of obligations; (5) the purchase and/or sale of distressed businesses/property in Chapter 11; (6) litigation on both preferences and/or fraudulent conveyances in bankruptcy; (7) representing secured creditors, vendors, committees, and interest holders to adequately protect their interest in bankruptcy cases, as well as represented panel trustees in Chapter 7 cases; (8) general counsel to financially distressed parties to formulate strategies; (9) out of court workouts; (10) represented companies in collection matters, UCC sales, and other enforcement proceedings; and (11) has provided general counsel, advise, relying upon his business reorganization expertise to counsel clients in the operation of their businesses. Expert listening and negotiating skills. A goal-oriented bilingual individual with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Stefany manages the day-to-day activities of the firm, including case assignment, accounting, implementing policies and procedures, billing, and much more. Stefany provides immense value to clients when they are facing debt collection, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation and even immigration issues. As she is bilingual in English and Spanish, she also serves as a trusted translator for clients who are most comfortable communicating in the Spanish language. Stefany is passionate about communicating effectively and empathically across cultural lines to assist clients and is most fulfilled when she sees clients or coworkers succeed. Her favorite aspect of Jacobs P.C. is that everyone works as a team. Prior to Jacobs, P.C., Stefany worked for a large immigration law firm, developing her analytical and project management skills through client service and a host of other responsibilities across multiple locations and with dozens of attorneys and staff. Tiffany Wright

Wayne M. Greenwald - Chief Legal Officer

Wayne M. Greenwald represents the entire spectrum of parties in interest in debtor-creditor matters and cases under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. He has extensive experience in business and commercial litigation and assists clients at all phases of dispute resolution, including pre-claim negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Wayne M. Greenwald has been concentrating on debtor-creditor law for more than 30 years. He was the assistant chair of the Defense Research Institute's Special Litigation Group on Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy. He formerly served as co-chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute's commercial fraud task force. Mr. Greenwald lectures frequently and has published or edited articles, treatises, and books on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, including Criminal Practice/ Bankruptcy Proceedings. He is highly regarded in the legal community and has been included in 2007 - 2008, 2010 - 2011, 2014 - 2020 New York Super Lawyers.
