Although I completed my medical education in Chicago and the East coast, I am a California guy at heart. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and completed my undergrad studies at UC Santa Barbara where I earned a B.S. in Microbiology in 1999... I left California to pursue my medical degree at the University of Illinois, Chicago, IL which I obtained in 2004. I then moved further east to complete my general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Jersey in 2005 and 2009 respectively... Following my residency, I completed advanced fellowship training in trauma surgery at Penn State University, Pennsylvania in 2010. Upon completion of my fellowship, I returned to New Jersey as an attending physician and assistant professor at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
