Beth Seidenberg

A longtime life sciences investor, founding managing director of Westlake Village BioPartners, and a partner at Kleiner Perkins, Dr. Seidenberg has incubated and invested in more than 20 healthcare companies during her career. Prior to life science investing, Dr. Seidenberg's career focused on developing new treatments for AIDS, arthritis, asthma, cancer and psoriasis, cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological and renal disorders for over 20 years. During that time, she introduced 10 innovative products to the market. Dr. Seidenberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and anthropology from Barnard College and attended medical school at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her medical residency at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University, and Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Carter Mecher

Dr. Carter Mecher has held a number of positions in medical preparedness and public health. Most recently, he was Senior Medical Advisor for the Office of Public Health in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and from 2005-2011, Director of Medical Preparedness Policy at the White House Homeland Security Council and National Security Staff. He was a principal author of the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza Implementation Plan, and helped set policy and devise strategies to mitigate the consequences of a pandemic and promote pandemic preparedness. Prior to serving in the White House, Dr. Mecher was the Chief Medical Officer for the Southeast VA Network in Atlanta from 1996 to 2005. Dr. Mecher completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.

Dr. James Lawler

Dr. James Lawler is Executive Director for International Programs and Innovation for the Global Center for Health Security at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine in Infectious Disease and Deputy Medical Director for the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit. Dr. Lawler's work has spanned a broad array of research, policy, and field activities related to emerging and high-consequence infectious diseases, medical and public health preparedness, pandemic and outbreak response, and global health. Dr. Lawler served in national policy positions in both the White House Homeland Security Council Biodefense Office and the National Security Council Resilience Directorate spanning two administrations. In 2012 Dr. Lawler founded the Austere environment Consortium for Enhanced Sepsis Outcomes (ACESO), an international research collaboration focused on improving sepsis survival in resource-limited settings and conducting high-impact research in 6 countries across 4 continents.

Erin Koehler

Erin joined Kinsa in 2013, and has spent the past 15 years leading product and analytics teams. Erin received her MBA from Berkeley in Social Entrepreneurship, Product & Business Model Design; and her BA from Tufts University in Quantitative Economics and International Relations. Some of her previous accomplishments include launching novel health products in 10 countries while working at the Clinton Health Access Initiative. While at CHAI, Erin led the introduction of new, improved health products throughout Eastern and Southern Africa, and advised nine governments throughout Africa on initiatives to improve access to high-quality, low-cost medications to treat HIV and malaria.

Inder Singh - CEO, Founder

Inder founded Kinsa in 2012 with a mission to curb the spread of infectious illness through the use of technology. Prior to Kinsa, he served as Executive Vice President of the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), where he brokered a series of agreements between 70 developing countries and 20 pharmaceutical companies to lower the price of AIDS, malaria and TB medicines. This work resulted in more than $1 billion in cost savings and enabled millions of children to access treatment. Inder started his career as a software engineer and consultant. He holds three Masters degrees from Harvard University and MIT, and is a proud University of Michigan alum.

Jacob Reider - CEO

Dr. Reider currently serves as the CEO of Huddle Health. He has worked for decades to improve the health of our communities through the innovative use of technology, and the promotion of benevolence in business. He previously served as CEO of Alliance For Better Health, a New York DSRIP care transformation initiative, Chief Health Officer of Physera, and co-founder of RS Partners, a health IT consulting and investing firm. Additionally, he worked in the federal government as the Deputy National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the US Department of Health and Human Services. He has more than 20 years of experience in health information technology with a special interest in user experience, clinical decision support and information portability. He served as the CMIO of Allscripts, one of the nation's largest health IT developers, and was Associate Dean for Biomedical Informatics at Albany Medical College where he continues to teach on an adjunct basis. He co-founded four successful health IT start-up companies, and has held Directorships on boards of both nonprofits and private companies. He has also held leadership roles in the American Medical Informatics Association and the New York State Academy of Family Physicians. He holds a BA in Cognitive Science from Hampshire College and an MD from Albany Medical College.

John Schulte

John Zicker

Nita Nehru

Richard Lim
