The idea behind this 3D printed, light weighted lamp was to avoid the idea of lighting being a purely functional commodity and making it something fun, creative and exciting that a kid could become familiar with. As a result, the kid could easily move around the lamp, creating their own sensory and therapeutic experience in different locations... - Help individuals with a variety of developmental challenges in the areas: communication, movement, balance and social skills... My name is Paz Rodriguez and working with art, design and technology has long been my passion. Ever since the digital world opened up the idea of technology and art related majors, I've wanted to contribute back to society, by analyzing and understanding the entire user experience using a particular product or service, to in the long run create a more accessible solution to technology and design.
