Mr William D Cockerham Jr is a co-founder of Marine Security Solutions, Inc. Mr Cockerham has extensive history of working for the community in matters of public health and safety. He brings many years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, obtaining positions of Field Training Officer and EMS Supervisor. He also worked several years in a county fire department and obtained the title of Primary Chauffer. With these two professions, he is able to convey firsthand knowledge of situations to our officers. Mr Cockerham also joined the United States Air Force at the age of 22. During Basic Military Training, it was found that he was ineligible to graduate due to undiagnosed asthma. During his training, he learned the Core Values of the USAF, and continues to live by those today. Integrity First. Service Before Self. Excellence In All We Do. Mr Cockerham encourages and promotes those same values be instilled within our corporate culture. Mr Cockerham has worked several years within the private security industry holding the licenses of an Armed Security Officer, a Personal Protection Officer, Guard Dog Trainer, and Private Investigator with the State of Texas. He has previously held supervisor positions within the private security industry. Mr Cockerham is also licensed by the State of Texas to operate large vehicles, such as trucks. Mr Cockerham has worked in this industry for several years and obtained the position of Driver Trainer. Mr Cockerham holds training in very high regard and encourages all staff to attend as much as possible. Mr Cockerham holds memberships in ASIS (a private security association) and OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Driver Associaton) and is a member of the Loyal Order of Moose (a fraternal organization).

Mr. David L Simmons, Sr is a co-founder and owner of Marine Security Solutions, Inc. Mr. Simmons joined the United States Marine Corps on February 03, 1987. After completing Basic Training he went to Advance Infantry Training School. His first duty station was with 1st Battalion 3rd Marine Regiment (1/3) 3rd Marine Division at Kanehoe Marine Corps Air Station in Hawaii. In July of 1990 he transferred duty stations to 1st Battalion 1st Marine Regiment (1/1) 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton California. December 31, 1990 he was deployed to Operation Desert Shield. On January 15, 1991 Operation Desert Shield transitioned to Operation Desert Storm and Corporal Simmons was attached out to Alpha Co. 1/1 as a Forward Observer. After Desert Storm ended he returned to Camp Pendleton with his unit and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and transferred to his new duty assignment as the platoon sergeant for Weapons Platoon with 1st Battalion 4th Marine Regiment 1st Marine Division Sgt Simmons received a Honorable Discharge on February 02, 1993 after six years of dedicated service and commitment to his beloved country. Upon his discharge from the Marine Corps he returned to Louisiana and went to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation from ULL he went to work in the oilfield until the crash came in October 2014. After the oilfield crash in October of 2014 he started working in the Security Industry where he met co-founder William D. Cockerham, Jr.
