MARK FERGIE

I am a fully qualified electrician and have an HNC in quantity surveying and construction management. I previously worked for East Lothian council, reponsible for the maintenance of over 2,700 homes and 300 public buildings in East Lothian. I was also Head QS for an internal fit out company that turned over upwards of £10 million and have a portfolio of buy to let properties. I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Over these years I have consistently heard and had to deal with problems from both the client and the tradesmen's perspective. This puts me in a unique position to fully understand the process from both sides, know how much the work should cost and know how to get the best out of the tradesman!
