Ajit Singh - CHRO

Ajit Singh is the Chief People Officer for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. Singh is responsible for delivering on business, talent, and human resources goals with a focus on employee experience and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Having joined MCM in 2014, he previously served as Managing Vice President of HR, as Organization Development Leader for MCM globally, and as Vice President of Human Resources for India and Asia Pacific region. In his career of more than 25 years, he has worked across India, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region in various HR chief roles for companies like Network18, General Electric, and Citibank. Singh holds a Master of Business Administration in HR from IILM, Delhi, a Law degree from Campus Law Center, Delhi University, and a Bachelors in HR from Delhi University as a top rank holder. He is a trained Executive Coach, an NLP practitioner, and has extensive training and experience on Change Management and Six Sigma processes.

Andrew Asch - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

Andrew Asch is Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. Asch manages legal affairs for MCM, including corporate litigation, legal compliance, transactional and corporate governance, business licensing, legal collections support, vendor oversight, bankruptcy legal support, and internal legal collections groups. He works closely with the company's risk and compliance team. Prior to joining MCM, Asch assisted clients with complex litigation and other matters while practicing with two international law firms. He also spent five years building a litigation capacity within a large Los Angeles-based privately held company. Asch holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a law degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. He is a member of the Bar of the State of California and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Darin Herring

Darin Herring is Senior Vice President of Operations for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. Herring oversees MCM's call centers, legal collections, and bankruptcy operations in the U.S. and Costa Rica. Previously, Herring served as Vice President, Legal Collections and Business Transformation, for Asset Acceptance Capital Corporation starting in 2008. He joined MCM in 2013 through Encore's acquisition of Asset Acceptance. Prior to joining Asset Acceptance, Herring worked for 20 years at American Express, where he held a variety of leadership roles in finance, global reengineering, and corporate services. He holds two Master of Business Administration degrees from Columbia University and the University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University.

Jaison Thomas

Jaison Thomas is Managing Director for the India operations of Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. He is responsible for global service delivery and building an employer brand of choice in the region. He oversees call center operations, internal legal, business transformation, analytics, and people practice. He also facilitated digital channels for consumers at MCM and introduced automation to build efficiencies at scale. Since joining MCM in 2009, Thomas has held a variety of leadership roles focused on optimizing consistent growth within India, and he spent time mentoring Encore's former Australian subsidiary, Baycorp. Prior to joining MCM, Thomas worked at Aegis BPO, GE Capital International Services, IBM Daksh, Global Vantedge and United Airlines. He holds a commerce degree from the University of Delhi, India.

Kaushik Kundu

Kaushik Kundu is Senior Vice President of Strategy and Analytics for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. Kundu oversees strategy, analytics, and decision science functions for U.S. operations. He also oversees digital strategies, consumer segmentation and treatment strategies, external agencies, and law firm operations. Kundu is responsible for setting the company's operations strategy and shaping the technology and business processes needed to implement them. Previously, Kundu led call center operations, strategy, and analytics functions. Prior to joining MCM, Kundu spent eight years in marketing and analysis at Capital One Financial Corporation, primarily in its credit card business. There he gained experience in credit policy, valuation modeling, customer management, online analytics, and a balance build program. Kundu holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore, India) and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Jadavpur University (Kolkata, India). Kundu is a CFA charter holder from CFA Institute.

Mike Merle - CFO

Mike Merle is Chief Financial Officer for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. Merle is responsible for managing MCM's global finance, accounting, and facilities functions. Previously, Merle served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for MCM, where he oversaw human resources, facilities, and accounting for the organization. Merle, who joined the company in 2014, also previously served as Managing Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Strategy and Performance. Prior to joining MCM, Merle worked for Tetra Tech, Inc., first as Chief Financial Officer and controller of a firm that was acquired by Tetra Tech, and then at the parent company leading mergers and acquisitions. Merle holds a Master of Business Administration (Palmer Scholar) from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and operations research (graduating summa cum laude) from Princeton University.

Monique Dumais-Chrisope - CIO

Monique Dumais-Chrisope is Chief Information Officer for Encore Capital Group and Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. She is responsible for enabling the business to achieve its goals by delivering strategic technology solutions through a robust infrastructure, secure framework, stable applications, and business intelligence. Dumais-Chrisope joined the company in 2019, following a successful tenure at Bank of America, where she served in senior and executive roles. Most recently at Bank of America, she served as Senior Vice President, Technology Executive, and was responsible for enterprise document, content, and record services. She led a diverse, global team of 500 IT professionals across sites in the U.S. and India. Dumais-Chrisope also served in an executive capacity with Balboa Insurance Group, which was acquired by Bank of America in 2008. She graduated from Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.

Ryan Bell - President

Ryan Bell is President of Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. He is responsible for the strategic direction and financial performance of Encore's U.S. debt purchasing line of business. Previously, as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Bell was responsible for all operational units of MCM. As Senior Vice President of Operations, he led Encore's internal legal, legal outsourcing, and bankruptcy operations. He also led Encore's decision science group, which is responsible for asset valuation, predictive model development, and financial forecasting. Bell joined Encore in 2011 as a Vice President. Prior to joining Encore, Bell spent 11 years in marketing and analysis at Capital One Financial Corp., primarily in the auto finance line of business. He earned a Master of Business Administration (graduating Beta Gamma Sigma) from The Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a bachelor's degree in management information systems (graduating cum laude) from Texas A&M University.

Sarah Cosgrave - SVP

Sarah Cosgrave is Senior Vice President, Corporate and Government Affairs, for Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary. She manages both federal and state legislative and regulatory matters, and she serves on the board of Encore's Political Action Committee (PAC). Cosgrave has served as a member of the MCM Executive Leadership team since January 2020. Prior to joining the company in 2006, Cosgrave spent five years with Capital One in various operations and business development roles. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has been a recurring member of the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) task force for the Receivables Management Association International (RMAI). Cosgrave holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from San Diego State University and bachelors' degrees in politics and legal studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
