Welcome to the Meyers Lab! Our undergraduate biochemistry research lab makes use of a wide range of biological and chemical techniques. The major focus of our work is the characterization of peptide hormones that have been shown to participate in both metabolic and mitogenic pathways. We are using these hormones and their analogs to explore the relationship between diabetes mellitus and cancer. As you explore our site, we hope you find something that sparks your curiosity!...
