Mihira has had an illustrious career in Cricket having played under 19 and senior National Level Women's Cricket. She has represented both Maharashtra and Karnataka at the national level. Today she is a match referee with BCCI. After having completed her B.A in Political Science, Mihira went on to study Law from Pune University. With a graduate degree in law (LL.B) she first interned with "Dudhat Pereira and Associates" a non-litigation law firm and later as Associate with partner Ms. Ziyan Pardiwala of Dudhat Pereira, a reputed solicitor in Mumbai. She gained wide exposure in broad areas of Corporate law (Intellectual Property rights, Sports, FEMA, SEBI, RBI regulations, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Property law, registration of magazine etc.), successfully defended litigants under Trade Marks Act and helped set up a company. She gained reputation for astutely managing disputes and offering commercially viable solutions to her clients in Intellectual Property Rights, and key areas of Media & Entertainment and Sports industry. Mihira has worked as an in-house counsel with Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and with Saregama India Pvt Ltd., in Mumbai, both established corporate giants in the field of Media & Entertainment. She has also defended the cyber crimes cases. Later she was also an in-house counsel for OnMobile Global Limited and has successfully led commercial negotiations for these companies. Working in the Media and Telecom Industry with exposure to diverse content she got an opportunity to work on gaming regulations and gained valuable experience in legal nuances for defending rights under a new and emerging field of law. With project management exposure on M&A matters she has collaborated with businesses on setting up joint ventures in India. She joined Honeywell Technologies Solutions Lab. Pvt. Ltd as a senior associate for one of their major business arms and was a key member of the global legal team that managed end to end contract management for all commercial deals in the Americas and APAC region. Knowing that the legal terrain can pose formidable challenges especially to start-ups, Mihira aims to ease the process of commercial engagement with her collaborative spirit. She is aware that business situations can get tricky just as they do on the field and hence is efficient to change the modus operandi should the need arise. Mihira is passionate about broadening her horizons with her consultative and hands-on approach in resolving disputes and disagreements facilitating the process winning partnerships.
