Our lab focuses on investigating underlying molecular mechanisms of rare & aggressive subpopulations of cancer cells that are responsible for tumorigenesis, metastasis and therapy resistance using multidisciplinary technologies, with the hope that we can translate the discovered information to clinical applications... To achieve these goals, we have developed tools with a mix of microscopy/advanced imaging, (machine learning-based) imaging analysis, single cell (sequencing/proteomic profiling) technologies and bioinformatics.
