TOLEDO, Ohio, July 11th, 2022 - Howard T. Moriarty Company is proud to announce its new name, Moriarty Machinery & Supply. Located at 143 Broadway St near the Anthony Wayne Bridge in downtown Toledo, Moriarty Machinery & Supply provides construction equipment, safety equipment, and supplies to businesses all over the world... Howard's father, Thomas Moriarty, started in the construction industry in 1908 performing bridge repair, building bridges, and working for a time with his brother. In 1930 Thomas founded Moriarty Machinery. After working for his father for a number of years, Howard started the Howard T. Moriarty Company in 1949. James Moriarty Sr. took over the family business after Howard passed away in 1977 and then bought Moriarty Machinery in 1982.
