As a result, the Kansas City Missouri VA Medical Center founded the Midwest Veterans' Biomedical Research Foundation (MVBRF). Since November 1988, our purpose has been to facilitate research and educational programming by connecting governmental entities, industry, and foundations to the VA Medical Menters in Kansas City, Leavenworth, Topeka and Wichita .These connections support basic, clinical, and outcomes research that directly benefits Veterans today and in the future...
To support research and educational activities of its members, all of whom are on the staff of the VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri or VA Medical Centers within the State of Kansas. We support four medical centers: the Kansas City VA Medical Center- Kansas City, Missouri; the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center- Leavenworth, Kansas,; the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center- Topeka, Kansas; and the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center- Wichita, Kansas.
