Civic Solutions, LLC was founded by Mark Rothert, in 2021 to initially address a lack of capacity by many small communities in Illinois to apply for COVID relief offered by the State of Illinois. Rothert, has over 20+ years of professional experience in local government, nonprofit management and economic development. He currently serves as the City Manager of Pekin, Illinois where he oversees the day-to-day operations of community of 33,000 with 300 full and part time employees and a $70 million budget. He is regularly advising elected leaders; providing strategic direction; and developing a high performing organization.
