The National Girls Baseball League (NGBL) was a professional women's softball league featuring teams from the Chicagoland area. The circuit was founded with five ballclubs in 1944 and lasted until 1954. Very little information exists concerning the league, teams, and players. Our purpose in creating this documentary film is to give the NGBL the recognition that it deserves as a pioneer in women's sports...
