I am graduated a Bachelor of Science in English teaching from Can Tho University. Before joining with NMAV's family on 2008, I used to work as training officer at the Project on rural water supply and sanitation support of five provinces in Mekong delta from 2002-2007. At NMAV, currently, I am working on disability issues of the inclusion of people with disability and practice inclusive education for children with disability at Can Tho City and Hau Giang Province.
My specific thematic knowledge and practical experience is on facilitating local partners/ Disability Organizations to apply inclusive education approach for cwds and practice policies, create chances, take out barriers through series of building capacity and awareness raising for educators, local authorities, relevant stakeholders, parents and pwds in the community. I feel happy when there are many children with disability participate in mainstream schools and increase success cases of pwds having stable jobs in projects that I worked with.

It was a coincidence I got a job in the field of disabilities after graduation, but I have been attached to this career for 18 years. At the beginning, I worked directly with the newly disabled as a peer counsellor in a rehabilitation centre and in the community, to help them to accept their disabilities and to live independently. I worked with them with all my heart, my enthusiasm and my own disability experience. Early in my career, I was sometimes quite stressed to have "tough cases" that I couldn't help because of the lack of sufficient knowledge and skills. So, I have constantly tried to find more opportunities to study further, because I think if I have professional knowledge, I will make further progress and in utilizing proper ways to help more people with disabilities.
Luckily, I got a scholarship from the Ford Foundation to gain a Master of Social Work degree at Washington University in St. Louis, in the USA. When I came back, I continued contributing my efforts to the Centre of Disability Research and Capacity Development. Here, I had more opportunities to engage in the disability movement, including advocacy for the rights of persons with disabilities, especially access to public buildings and public transportation. An important facet was empowerment for women with disabilities.
Currently, as a project leader in NMAV, I have a chance to contribute to promoting rights of education for children with disabilities through a project titled Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities and Climate Change Resilience in Hau Giang. I enjoy working in this area, helping teachers to gain more knowledge to teach children with disabilities with a hope of "no child left behind." The more children with disabilities gain access to schools, the more they will find that opportunities open for them to develop themselves and integrate into society.
Hello everyone. My name is Hà. I have been the senior accountant for NMA Vietnam for 9 years. I am in charge of checking, controlling the financial reports from 6 project accountants of partners and even more in the future. I live in Ho Chi Minh City from 1975
I have been working on accounting over twenty years for some organizations from representative office, business companies to NGO. NMA Vietnam has a good, friendly and democratic working environment that I have a strong attachment to.
My favourite is finding why there are differences of numbers until everything is exact and clear. Ethics of accounting job which are honesty or frankness, transparency, compliance, patience are also in line with my living criteria.
I have been working for NMA in Vietnam since 2002 with various country directors from Norway and other employees in Vietnam. I am currently responsible for and responsible for the administrative work of the office and support all project staff of NMA in Vietnam.

For the period of 2015-2020, our theme is about Climate change resilience in Mekong Delta. As a project leader, my main responsibility is about Education component in Tien Giang and Tra Vinh province which aims to raise awareness for the students, teachers on climate change, inclusion and gender.
In fact, Mekong is one of the most fertile areas in Vietnam but it is also affected a lot by climate change. This makes me realize that my job is very neccessary to train for the teachers and students to have knowledge on climate change, how to response to natural disaster and create an inclusive envoronment for all children in order to support for the community to deal with the environmental issues.
I have worked for NMA in Vietnam since 2010 and I think that I am very lucky to work for the organization. This place helps me to improve my values such as transperancy, simplicity, democracy, and compassion. As being fond of working on education, I have through working on education for Community Development projects before and Climate change resilience now. To me, it is really happy to work and see the changes in future generation of where I have work for.
Apart from Education, I am also in charge of Child Representative Program in Vietnam and support the component on capacity building for women in Tra Vinh.

I have been working for Mission Alliance in Vietnam since 2011. I am responsible for coordinating the NMAV's programs in Vietnam, including Capital Aid Fund for Women's Economic Development (CWED), one of the largest microfinance organisations in Vietnam.
